Server Rules - September 2023

Renegade Server Rules - Updated November 10th 2024

Rules can and/or will be amended at anytime if a particular incident calls for it, this is likely occur if a non-standard map is being played, in which case the decision is deferred to General Rule 2, follow a moderators instruction.

General Rules

1. No cheating or hacking of any kind, if caught abusing a cheat you will be banned.

2. Follow any direction given to you by an identified moderator.

3. Racism is not permitted. This includes slurs against a race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, group, or individual. It also includes slang used in today's vernacular.

4. All homophobia is banned.

5. Please do not constantly whine or moan about things. Everyone gets annoyed with it over time.

6. Please keep trolling to a minimum.

7. Do not Death evade.

8. No glitching of any kind: such as obelisk walking, firing through the Weapons Factory bay window, and using !stuck/!unstuck command to go off map.

9. No team hampering. This includes, but is not limited to: team vehicle stealing, blocking team vehicles, blocking team repairers(in any way, including cover MTC with C4) and over-mining.

10. No advertising of other servers, it's considered rude at best.

11. Do not stack teams by abusing the !tc command, or otherwise. This includes leaving the game to unbalance teams, allowing another player to join or swap teams.

12. Do not abuse the vote system. This includes starting polls to kick players, repeating polls that do not pass(or halted by a moderator), joining and leaving under different nick names to add another vote.

Infantry

1. One-man wall hops are not permitted, you cannot hop a wall by yourself.

2. No flaming characters.

3. Invisi-Hugging glitch is NOT allowed here. This means you have to come out of the corner clearly when you shoot.

Vehicles

1. Pic/Rail "in out shooting" is not allowed in combination with any vehicles when engaging against enemy ground vehicles, EXCEPT Buggy/Humvee/ APC/Chameleon/Recon/Tow-Humvee/Flying Vehicles. Ramjets versus vehicles is allowed.

2. Wall hopping with vehicles is not allowed.

3. No vehicles inside buildings.

4. No flaming vehicles. Remoting your vehicle so an sbh does not steal it is acceptable.

5. Blocking the harvester is allowed, as long as you can get your team's consensus to block it.

6. Capturing enemy harvester is NOT allowed UNTIL TT fixes bug that prevents from OB/AGT shooting enemy harvester.

Beacons

1. We allow fake beacons, but not constant spamming(4-5 really fast is considered spam).

2. We allow tunnel nukes, as long as they do not hit a building.

3. We do not allow Ledge beacons nor beacons on top of buildings on ANY map, except Canyon's barracks and WF(where you can jump onto back of wf).

Crates

1. Credit tib farming is not allowed(exception is Human Silo + your Ref being dead). This means shooting yourself with a rocket or a tiberium auto rifle that will cause you to lose health so your teammate can repair you.

2. If you get the Human Silo crate -AND- your Refinery is dead: you CAN have a teammate repair you in the tiberium field(Ref has to be dead)!

Map Specific

1. No Base to Base attacks, shooting enemy base from your base. (B2B) You must be across the second river outside of your base on Islands. EXCEPT Complex, Get_Rekt_b8. 

• On Snow: Shooting upper tunnels with arty, med, or any vehicle that will damage building is NOT Allowed.
