Lundy004 Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 okay, here's a cool Idea. What if, during a marathon game in RenCorner, you get kick-ass command and conquer music streaming to all players? Maybe allow players to vote for songs & maybe even a playlist for their favorite command and conquer songs? -Lundy004 1
Zemki Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 .. and if individuals don't want to even be streamed the music? sound on this rig is done on the processor and tends to hang the game for a sec when having to buffer to ram and still keep game events going.
RnD Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Sounds awesome to me, hearing Stomp on a FunWar? All the Viagra I could need for my trigger finger right there.
BillieJoe67 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 If the music's in always.dat, then the fds sound command (snda iirc) should do the trick, just setup a br plugin that changes track when the it's finished. Some people might not like it though, so if you can, use sndp and add a command to turn the music off. If not then look into an internet radio station that people can join whilst playing renegade, or rig the package manager to download the song files onto the client so that you can use any songs

Joetorp Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 I'd much prefer to listen to what I like to hear, so www.pandora.com is what I use, you can choose your own music. You youngsters like to listen to different music than this old guy.
Lundy004 Posted July 27, 2012 Author Posted July 27, 2012 Well I was thinking good ol` classic C&C 95 or C&C Sun/Firestorm music, NOT the redux one or the remakes, I like the originals.
Guest Animoski Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 We installed the JukeBox plugin and it's working just fine. For now I enabled it for everyone, but if you don't want it you can simply type in !music off or !music on when you want it back. I could definitely use some suggestions for specific files to put in the bot, it only comes with like 7 or 8 of them.
