I downgraded to 4.2 a few days ago, it fixed the hit detection!!! or lets say the movement lags! since 4.3 autorifles seem useless, compared to 4.2. I can upload 4.2 if interesst is there.

I use 40" screen, the text overstretches the outlines when targeting something. But thats no prob for me. If you use RenList, make sure RenList use "Game2.exe" otherwise you will download the newest patch automaticly when connection a server.

 

to go sure if it has worked, go ingame and use !scripts : (this version should pop up)

I have noticed nothing but improvements in 4.3 when it comes to lag/movement but honestly I just been working on the server and have not actually played. The server is currently using scripts 4.2 so that could be a factor when playing with 4.3 on a 4.2 server. Kinda waiting on Whitedragon at the moment to update.

HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY RENEGADE!!! I remember playing this for the first time about 10 years ago, my dad let me sit on his lap and shoot a bunch of you RenTards! Then my mom yelled at my dad said I couldn't play bcuz I was only 11 years old lol, I remember my dad saying I can come back and play when I turned 15 if I'm still interested and what do you know I'm still here at age 21 and now I'm wayyyy better than uboom :P

I remember getting renegade in 2002 when I was 10 years old and being literally the worst player ever cause it was my first ever computer FPS and I only played in first person mode for the first like 4 years I got it cause I had AOL dialup so I averaged like 200 ping and my dad only let me play on an old dell workstation PC he had with a 16 MB graphics card that averaged 8 FPS unless i played in a 10v10 or less server, then I got a good PC and  spent like a year straight of playing renegade every day in A1TNGS CTF server, quickly became best player to ever own the game. (hahaha :P) Amazing what practice can do.
