bad2gurlz Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Hi guys As most of the admin section already knows why i am not active, i wanted to tell you all. My father has cirossis and he needed liver transplant. Well that day has come, which is tomorrow acctually. Oh and im the donor . At 19 im making the biggest decision of my life. I just need your guys prayers and i hope for the best. Most of you might wonder why i am putting these kind of information on the internet but truthfully Renegade/rencorner is really a huge part of my life and i felt the need to share it. Lets do this (Although im scared shitless) 1
Guest rackz Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 (edited) I really hope evrything goes well, good luck mate. I hope to see you ingame soon with a big smile. Edited March 20, 2017 by rackz
Joetorp Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 That is a wonderful thing you are doing. I know your father is very lucky to have you as a son. These operations should be routine by now, so you shouldn't be worried about the outcome. I think all you will notice is a loss of weight (how much does a piece of liver weigh...). The good news is it should grow back. We will be praying for you. I expect you will change your name to "Goodtomypapa." Good luck! 2
mdogg1108 Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Best of luck man. As Joe said, the liver should be able to regenerate itself at least somewhat so that's definitely a good thing! Let us know how it goes!
ice187dna Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Good luck to you both. At 19 yrs old it is a big decision to make, but it will be the best one you will ever make. You will be back in no time. See ya soon.
Blacky Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Good luck to both of you. Your dad is lucky to have a son like you. My prayers for your family. Let's do this! Thank you for sharing.

bad2gurlz Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 Ouch this really hurts!!!!! Thanks guys for your support, I really appreciate it. The operation was successful and my dad is doing really good, better than me. All my life I have been afraid of needles, I never had a surgery, never gotten an Iv drip till last year. We are both able to walk, but truthfully im scared alot and im in pain alot. Although this sacrifice was worth it. My father is doing better and almost all of his hepatitis is gone. I cant walk, cant sit without feeling pain. My breathing has gotten a little bit worse but the doctor said it's okay. I have sudden mood changes but the strange thing is I haven't cried once yet not even after or before surgery. My new fear is of the pain I will feel when they remove my drainage pipe (lol) which will be removed tomorrow and after that, the next day im discharged. All in all this has been the most painful experience in my entire life. But it was worth it. Keep sending me your prayers guys, bad2gurlz out!! 2
woolwind Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I'm glad to hear your dad is doing well, you are an awesome son. Post-op sucks donkey balls, keep yourself moving and get off the meds as soon as you can. Wishing you the best.
Guest rackz Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Drainage, a common thing for me. I had so many fights, knife fights etc. But seriously drainage wasnt a big deal. Im sure you now agree with me lol
Manuel857 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Glad the surgery went successful! Wishing you and your Father all the best for the recovery!
Learonys Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 Be well, friend! I'm sure you'll do fine. Your dad must be proud of you.
bad2gurlz Posted March 29, 2017 Author Posted March 29, 2017 (edited) They took out the drainage pipe today, shit hurts like hell or maybe the nurse was being a little rough! Tomorrow i would be discharged, my father apparently is doing better than me, he can sit and walk almost normally where i cant walk without having to bend over. My guess is, why my abdomen hurts soo much is because i used to do abs exercise and have gotten so used to contracting my abs muscles. Dad is proud of me, but I made him promise to get me a lambo Edited March 29, 2017 by bad2gurlz 1
