Tuesday April 18th at 6pm Eastern timezone, Limestone will be moving our 208.115.205.106 server to another rack to see if that stops any of the lag we've been getting since before last year. It should take an hour or so. It also may end up being 1 hour earlier, if they do it when I get ya'll kicked out. :p

How does moving racks within the datacenter help with lag? Curious what the strategy is here. Best of luck...we all need some reprieve from the lag.

I've used LSTN before and never had issues with routing within the DC, its was more with peers and transit.

It wouldn't change anything really. It's still be on the exact same network. Potentially runnig through diffrent equipment.

Got me, only a few join it these days. They're on, but they sit there with 0 cpu when empty...so I leave them.

My thoughts too. We're talking a different switch within the rack and different switches from there on outwards but at the level within the DC we're talking beyond any type of equipment that can handle GB/s.
