Teamspeak and #Rencorner powers

Due to the recent abusing on Teamspeak and our #Rencorner channel, this topic is being made.

Generally I've had it set up like this(each group has its own "level and power"):

Donators can move people and kick from channels.

Half mods can move people and kick people from channels.

Full mods can move people, kick from channels and the server, and can ban.

If I catch any of you abusing it any longer: you will be removed from the whole Group, or the whole Group suffers by having its privelages revoked. We shouldn't have to worry about this sort of thing, moderators are supposed to be our trusted members who can kick and/or ban as needed.

Before most people were added into the #Rencorner channel's auto +v list. Now, its the select ones who will not abuse it. Do not set people as +v anymore in that channel please. If they're a trusted member of our irc, then that's when they can get +v.

I can only echo what you've said.

Moderators need to be setting a example in teamspeak, not acting like children and kicking/banning eachother and moving players without asking them, if this issue wasn't brought up, then I know at some point it would really insult someone if they was talking to a friend about something personal for instance and they probably wouldn't rejoin our teamspeak, I'll be honest if I joined a different teamspeak and that happened to me, I wouldn't want to rejoin either.

The administration decide to ignore abuse like this all the time good-one-driver can do whatever he likes here.

Fully agree on the TS subject. You know who stop playing with the shit! lol

The V's I have added were our staff or people we temp like Protos. Not sure if you added any Shai (Like DJ has it) or if Ani did. But I have not added any non-RC staff. I was surprised then I saw monsp with it.

Yea what I seen a couple nights ago was completely unacceptable and it shouldn't have happened. The people involved were lucky I didn't remove your teamspeak powers when you blatantly disobeyed me.

So any reason I don't have +v in #RC-AOW when I do everywhere else?

One thing to bring up, is that it kinda sucks not being able to do !pi or !gi to check the players, points and current map.

Could that be fixed for everyone, not just voiced users (although the !gi command doesn't work for voiced users either, I believe)

Thanks for the consideration.

!gi and !pl work for voiced users I think

I'll check the permissions out today.

lol your such a cry baby since you cry about everything my turn, so you're saying we need to show an example and be good mods and not abuse? Crying when someone kills you is a good example? !muting mods is a good example? !kill mods is a good example? You're not a perfect angle and abuse just as much as any other. You're not a perfect example ether espically ingame to how you talk to some players and how you treat some players.

Every mod has their own fun sometimes... and own jokes within a small group on IRC or TS. Not quite sure why you all get a hard on for when another mod makes mistakes and want to hop on their dick...

However, bringing the raging hormones to the forums and openly bitching at each other only ruins the reputation of the community. It shows the moderating team isn't cooperative and lacks communication.

Some things need to stay private between the mods, and from what I've seen, some mods need to keep their mouth shut about some things.

Only speaking the truth, I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but it needs to be said.

I would say that is one of the things that should be posted in private ;).

Where could I post it that would not be seen from regulars, but seen by mods?

You can pm me or any of the admins directly.
