NizzyStorm
OK, so this is starting to piss me off now. It has been here since the windows 10 creators update. (yes, I have windows 10, sad life.) Anyway, I also moved my game to another hard drive during that time. Basically, I spoke to zorid (on MC) and he said that I could do that because it's on origin/steam. (he has steam so he told me this was possible). Now I don't know what this could be but it's like Freeze for 5 seconds then it goes again for like 2 minutes then freezes again. Any help wth this would be grand. PC Specs: OS: 64 bit Windows 10 Home (Version 10.0 Build 15063), CPU: 8 x Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz @ 2592 MHz 1024 KB Cache, MEM: 8019 MB, 60% (4800 MB) free, DISKS: total 1.01 TB - 893 GB free, GFX: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 1024 MB, SCREEN: Generic PnP Monitor, 1920 x 1080 @ 32 bit, 60 Hz, AUDIO: Realtek High Definition Audio, UPTIME: 0 d, 0 h, 9 m My PC is a laptop by the way. Also with the 8 cores i have i have put it up to 8 cores going to msconfig etc should i put it down? Edited April 24, 2017 by rossnisbe
War0n
Freezing ? What happens there? Do you needa remove the battery to reboot? or does the game just freeze and you are able to restart the game?
NizzyStorm
It freezes for like 5 seconds then unfreezes and continue's to play like normal.

dubstar
Is your laptop over heating? this can be one of the main causes for graphical glitches. if so, don't keep it on 24/7 and don't run so many programs while playing renegade. Is your hard drive full? (where windows is installed), if so then you need to free up space. HD seeking will become more stable. Check your drivers are all up to date, using a program to do this for you can save a lot of bother (I use IObit Driver Booster Free 4.3) If all the above do not help your problem then you could try a fresh install of Renegade. ROZPIERDALATOR
the problem is HDD, it turns off if not used and then turns on again. all you need is run something in background to prevent HDD from stop spin or buy SSD
dubstar
you can stop HDD from turning off go to control panel > power options > change plan settings > advanced power settings > Hard Disk (change Turn off Hard Disk to Never) Also forgot to add above, you could try enabling VSync in Renegade options
