I need help about IRC

I cant find fight forum, so i posted it here.

I send a message at IRC, but it wont show up in terraria server-chat.

Any help? (I logged in and did /join #rc-terraria2

I can see users' messages at IRC and send mine, but mine messages dont show in chat.

Are you using mIRC, or another client?

Maybe you're whispering to someone instead of posting msg, just check if that box it ticked in the bottom right corner

what happens when you write and press enter, the text in the box disappears but nothing appears on top?

When I join mIRC, I connect to Rencorner.

Then i type /ns register mypassword myemail

then /join #rc-terraria2 (because i joined IRC at server #2)

Then i type in my friend's name to call him, but he don't answer. I decided to test the error myself, then I joined terraria and IRC and once, typed a message at IRC and it doesn't show up in game chat.

What's the problem?

Well what you write on the IRC chat isn't supposed to appear ingame, unless you use the proper command

I'm not sure what it is on Terraria, on renegade we use !ppage *username* *message* to send a message to someone, or !msg *message* just to send a general chat inside the game. Otherwise, anything that happens on IRC stays on IRC.
