using a windows 98 screen saver on windows 7?

So I found a bunch of old screen savers on a website. I have looked on youtube to see if there were any walkthroughs on how to apply that screen saver to windows 7.. but none didn't explain very well. Does anyone here have any knowledge on that? Can it be done?

no idea how to do it myself :(

 

I used to use one that had like a watery/liquid effect distorting the desktop wallpaper & icons, can't remember what it was called and whether it came with 98SE or 98 lol would be cool to get that running on win 8.1 xD

I know which one you are talking about! I found the mystery screen saver.. the haunted house one.. brings back such great memories!

i just do a right click on any *.scr file and install it.
