C&C Backstab_RC

This is my "new" map Backstab. It's a small to medium sized AOW map, with a few tricks up this maps sleeve's. This is the final version of this map, but if there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the map, it CAN be fixed, IE falling through the ground, or missing PT, or a bad way path. If it's not a serious issue, it may not get corrected, but I welcome everyone's input and criticism, and I will consider any/every suggestions. 

I hope everyone enjoys this map as much as I do!

I told them to get you some pics/write it down. I played it in LAN it was ok(another map(not yours) was the opposite: ww logos on LAN...fine on server), putting it on the server it's missing a wall or something they said.

 

Was it a texture issue (overlapping/glitching) on a section of the base walls behind each teams PP? 

Screen shots would help haha

They said u can walk from back ref to the other ref through the wall.

Yes, that is allowed. Nod & GDI both have access, at that textured wall. Unfortunately, I made that before I know how to work with manipulate plans fully, so I had to overlap some textures.

Marc & DaDake,

Thank you for giving Backstab some play time last night. As I said last night, I am currently converting the map to HD textures, and making some minor adjustments to the map. A new concept image of the new look is below, and the video of game play ( about 8 minutes) is at the end of this post.

It's fairly straight forward map with some twists. The middle sight glass allows you to see into the enemy base, and there is a hidden path in between, well....hidden doorway. The hidden doorway and "glitchy-ness" of it is being fixed.

The spawn buggy & hummvee holds WAY more than 2 people :)
There are also other areas you can access, that are not easy to find!
There is an infantry only access point to the rear of the WF and Hand.
Spawn weapons/crates on both sides, upper and lower.

The current version available has a faulty cargo plan drop off which has been fixed thanks to Mortal! I have decided to remove the ramps in base for defense. They were terrible and hardly anyone used them. I have replaced them with windows (red arrows in the image below) that will be accessible via teleporter. This will offer a better defensive option. This cutout in the wall will also allow rocket launchers and other weapons, to target buildings from the side paths.

I am open for suggestions. I may not use them in end, but I'll respond for sure and let you know.

I dont know what hurts my eyes more trunks, your aim or your map designs
