Setting: Noon Time, Description: Completley Re-vamped version of the original, Fixed PED's and added Stealth Recons and Advanced Humvee...also added MP working Obelisk animation(must use scripts.dll)

Internet doesn't play such a big role in that matter. I can DL stuff with 11-12MB/s yet I get around 100KB/s in the downloader. :Dang:

We had Hourglass on the rotation for about a year i think. We changed the rotation up a bit and hourglass was one of the maps we chose to leave out this time.

I'm not trying to turn this into a 50 reply frenzy but any chance we can consider putting in C&C_High_Noon with some kind of balance added in? For example, no arts or MRLS. The map is very big and in small games arts can get sniped from a mile away. I feel like that map, when balanced correctly to account for low player count, can last a long time which would help draw people in, plus its fun. At least I think so. Maybe also remove stealth recons so 20 people aren't all driving recons LOL.

 

just a suggestion, I remember playing this map from like the n00bstories days and 14 year old me really liked it

I've looked at it on the comm server... Honestly with the player count we have nowadays I fail to see how it could be a very good map. Not only is it very big, my biggest concern was the base defense on the walls. It's basically impossible for a single APC to rush through and get to it, you need to get out and walk up the wall up to it. The design is just wierd also, there's several things I don't understand why they made that way, like the sniper holes who are in direct line of sight from the AGT, which makes it downright impossible to use. I also noticed some glitching along some walls, textures mistakes and some lights hovering over the WF.

Also, AFAIK removing vehicles isn't really possible without modifying the map itself. It's really a hassle.


I personnally wouldn't recommend it, we decided to not put Siege on the rotation for far less than what I've seen with High noon.

Not a huge fan of that map but we could give this a try. We know who will win almost every game tho, lol.

and @mdogg1108 whats the point of adding this map if you wanted it so modified? No/arts/mrls, and stealth recons. might as well not add it.

I mean you guys don't have to add it, it was just an idea. The no arts was because I just felt like 1 havoc from a long range away could easily take away tanks (since we're playing small games). You could also say like no ramjets instead kind of like niagra. The recons I said because I felt like the map would just end up like Niagra with a huge circle jerk of humvees and recons instead of people actually playing -_-.

i think I just felt like high noon forces people to get tanks, and it could make for some good tank wars, but it is a big map like mass said. Idk just an idea

better to stick to smaller fanmaps

bigger ones have so many issues
