That's very disturbing considering that file comes from a very old website and should be bug free since this issue didn't arise until within the past few years. You won't find a older version, unless from the creator themselves. I wish you good luck on your edits!

The problem isn't the map, the problem is probably some change in scripts overt he years that breaks the map.

Well, its the tunnel entrances for some reason lol. Dont ask me how thats possible. Because the map itselfe is/was setup perfectly fine. There are exactly 4 spots causing this bug (even when there are more tunnel entrances)

What about Forgotten Town? That could work on RC, since it isn't to big, but has options for tank and infantry wars.

like sand it will end up getting removed

voting for it to be set as nextmap should be the only way maps like that get seen

Doubt it most players in RC are there for the tanking not some dumb map that comes on where it gets dominated by snipers who are doing 50-1 and everyone else is just dying over and over, kinda like sniping free infantry,  we already know certain players are so lame they will do that intentionally and put 0 effort into ending the game to carry on doing so if the game swings the correct way, so allowing a map which calls for that situation everytime, no ty. 

Plus carnage club is too easy to abuse, anyone who is a half decent sniper can sit near the PT with a 1 shot weapon like ramjet or rail ect..., the moment someone comes close to killing you, refill (E+5) in an instant and you gotta go and do it all over again, then it ends up being "the only way to kill this guy is with another one shot weapon", then everyone aims to get a 1 shot weapon and basically becomes a sniper server...

 

Obviously have no problem with people voting it in, but as for putting it into the rotation, na m8

still a blood bath none-the-less which will make people rage quit or leave before it comes on :( not what we want, it is there for voting and I am 100% happy to play it now and again (DM is awesome)

as for integrating into the rotation... simply NO ;)

This is wrong, IMO. If it was a tank game, there wouldn't be any infantry options. The problem is, there simply isn't enough players ingame consistently for the game to be played to it's full potential. If it's 30v30 and the vehicle limit is reached, what are the remaining players supposed to do? Stand there with their dicks in their hands?

Infantry is a must in situations like that. Techs repairing tanks - PIC's/Raveshaws helping against the other teams tanks - snipers trying to shoot them and the techs. It's all needed in the grand scheme. Plus, it lets players rush through tunnels/alternate entrances.

Teamplay? Absolutely.

But, not strictly a tank game.

doesnt help 99% of the time infantry is doing nothing productive

Can't argue that point, and I am guilty of it as well. Sometimes, repping an arty for a couple hours gets boring. I will generally try to do what I can to help my team win the match, though.

Oh god how much did I miss apps.

Also, from all the new maps, hangmans the one getting a quite even vote, since yesterday there was only one more "no" than "yes". It's not a bad map actually. Is if you're planning to fly (inb4 it gets niagra'd), but I remember playing it on a jelly fw with many people and it turned out good. Hell, we played one the other day with quite some people, and it was a fun one, both teams got tanks and it was a gg.

Hangmans has always been well like, I think. Has plenty of options for tanks or infantry and is balanced well.

How many of the players did not vote though? We all know quite a bit of them don’t really care. Usually we get -50% did not vote which should be fixed imo

 

Should add a few maps from T0RN’s server, I remember those so well, especially that canyon one with wooden bridges and indian tents. Was lots of fun on that server when more than 4 people joined. Anyone still in touch with guys lime CryptX, his son or flamingnz? Last time I spoke with them was when jelly officially closed.

More people would probably vote if they knew that PgUp and PgDn worked. It's second nature for me now to hit those.
