Frozen

It is with great sadness I write this post. I first apologize for my absence but work has taken over most of my life. I am active online between 12am-6am, but today I have to inform you we have lost a great friend of mine who was a legend in Renegade and went on to be spectacular at many other games. Frozen aka Tyler "Ty" Sanders started off in Gamespy with me and many of you. I first remember him being in BiO. I could dig up some old screenshots but it wouldn't be respectful so show how bad he was back then. That being said he became a great Renegade player: Far better than I. He had an infectious personality and was always happy and funny. He had his moments when he'd get triggered and yell at the renegade game we were playing or just yelling at his bird Tuki. In the end, he was always a great friend and teammate. Over the years we hadn't talked as much as I would have liked but he would always just randomly send me a message on skype to catch up or ask for some free credits on the Pub server. Unfortunately, Ty passed away after he was involved in a collision with a tree. He was only 29 and had a bright future ahead of him.

When I first read that article they called him a "man", I mean he was, he was also a legend, but when I think of Ty I think of a kid. It takes me back to when we were all a lot younger. When our biggest concerns were high schools and the clanwars.cc ladder. It's hard to believe the people in this community that were closest to Frozen or V3 or Ty are now all adults and that bad things can happen to us. That we are no longer those teenage kids that thought would go on forever (just like Renegade). With a heavy heart I have to say I am inspired and thankful for the years I spent with this great "man". May he rest in peace. 

I would like to organize a day we can dedicate to the celebration of Tyler's life and his Renegade career. Please offer some suggestions and lets plan an event for him because he deserves it!

That's so sad to read and a reminder that we need to live life to its fullest. We are indeed all growing older, it's hard to lose people we love.

Probably one of my closest friends I've made on Ren, he was literally the nicest guy and thought me a lot both inside and outside Ren! Thank god we will be able to look back on the good times we all had though

I'm sure there is a video somewhere to provide a little context but it was freaking hilarious, playing AVA with Frozen was some of the best online days ever, not just because he shat all over us at the game, but he was just hilarious win or lose

RIP Frozen. Yea it was a lot of fun playing Renegade, AVA and other games with him. Probably spent more time playing games with him on holidays then I did with my family back when we where kids! Good times. Dave!!
