The only way this could be improved is to let the idiots be the cones and I'll text while driving an APC.

Using a mobile phone whilst driving is illegal in Britain and has caused many accidents, some fatal.

You still see idiots (mostly young girls) using their phone while driving and it makes me mad.

It is just as dangerous as DUI.

If you are in the habit of using a phone while driving stop. You are risking your life, and more importantly, the lives of others.

All I can really do is echo what you said Gumby, I always rage at drivers when I see them using their phone. It's stupid, selfish and immature.

If you really need to talk to someone, pull over where its safe and not risk your family/friends and other motorists.

Strangely though, those who text while driving are quite adept at it and show little laps in situation awareness. I still dislike seeing and/or riding is vehicles where the driver is texting.

It is also illegal in Canada. Although I have yet to see it be strictly enforced. Thankful most vehicles have bluetooth capabilities allowing the driver to text or talk without actually touching or holding the phone.

I have to admit I text and drive. But differently.. I only text seriously when stopped at a light... or if im driving I don't usually have to look at the phone to text what i need to send.. Most of the time im flying somewhere so i dont have time to text anyways
