24 hour kick abused and more.

Hello RenCorner,

  I have received a 24 hour kick by iB-mdogg1108 for absolutely no reason whatsoever on 2/3/2018 3:45 EST. I was in the rencorner snipe server on the nickname "cryptocurrencies"  and he just decided to continue threatening me to receive a permanent ban. I never had the chance to screenshot or save logs, etc. Although, I'm pretty sure anyone on IRC (which I know a lot of others for evidence has seen or can go back to) can see what happened. Now I'd like to prove my point here and why to become a mod should be a lot more strict even though it might seem too late. Some mods really don't deserve the right to be a mod. Like, proven here so many mods will do what a normal player wish they could but couldn't. For example, when another player is annoying them via chat the mod can just mute them while the normal player has to listen to it like in any other game out there. They should only use those commands (!mute, !kick, !ban, etc.) for anything stated in the "!rules", other than that the mod is just completely abusing his powers just because they simply don't like someone, annoyed, etc. This same concept has occurred more times than I can count. Mods shouldn't be muting, banning, kicking, etc for the smallest reasons like in the example stated above. I personally believe we have too many mods here in RenCorner and we should remove the mod privileges from a lot of the mods here starting from iB-mdogg1108 for this exact reason. Mods shouldn't need to worry what is going on in the chat in the game, mods are there to make sure everyone is playing by the rules. It should never be anything more  than that.

for the logs part its no big problem, the server has its own logs. admins will take a look on it.

Why is it that you don't care that you get in trouble, but when you're muted or kicked you cry like a baby? If you're going to act the way you do, at least be a man when the time comes for you to get punished.

 

Next time you piss anyone off it will just be a permanent mute, as this is the RenCorner protocol for this now. Which I do agree with, but I just thought it would be nice for you to realize you're not as invincible as you think you are.

Normal players are pissed off all the time. What can they do? Nothing. When a mod gets annoyed or pissed off, what do they do? Just simply kick! Sounds fair to me even though that's no where on the rules, no other game in the entire world works like that. If anyone needs to man up, its you. Instead of just kicking take it like a normal player and quit abusing your mod privileges.

I looked back at this and couldn't stand to acknowledge that you only shown my messages via IRC and not yours, you just completely left your messages blank and showed every message of mine containing that "P" word. If that offends you or anyone else on Renegade there's seriously something wrong with you and everyone getting offended by excessively cursing on a dead game. If you're smart to realize every single person on Renegade nowadays are all 20+ year olds that played the game since 2003. You people here on RenCorner act like you are getting new players daily and have a bunch of underage kids playing. I mean you even used it for the reason you kicked me for "i gotta big p***y", so I really don't understand why you continuously pointed that out. Well, that's besides the point. I also like how you, iB-mdogg1108 replied to this. I'd preferably have another mod acknowledge this situation as you, yourself is part of this situation and you should not be just easing you way out of it like it's not a big deal to abuse mod privileges because it is and it is the reason this game is dead. Now get another mod to help on this situation besides yourself, coward. Understandably so, all you mods are friends and have been playing Renegade with each other before I was even born so of course any other mod would probably just back you up anyways because they also all would do the same exact thing you did. Although, I'd like to just give it a shot because not ALL mods are abusers like yourself. There is actually great mods that just do what they're there to do and not be so bossy and act like they are my parents. Now get me another mod here as soon as possible.

Are you saying if someone makes racist statements while in game, there shouldn't be any repercussions cuz it is in chat?  If you read the rules, racist statements could get you banned.  That gives a mod the authority to monitor what goes on in chat and to discipline as needed to keep the peace.

The game may be dead to you due to its age, however it is alive and well for those of us that still prefer it over other war games.  Excessive cursing is something that is annoying and mostly used by immature young players who mistakenly think it is a sign of maturity when in fact, it isn't.  We allow cursing, but when it becomes excessive to a point of being offensive, then action can be taken by a mod.  You don't seem to understand that you are playing with people of all walks of life... Some curse, some don't, some don't mid cursing, some find it extremely offensive,  You obviously don't mind expelling curse words.  My advise to you is to be civil,  while pussy isn't technically a curse word, it is slang and we do have females that play...
