shaitan Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 If things go down use the http://ostk-clan.org/forums/ site(discord/irc/ts/steam group too) to keep in touch. I was not given a timeframe, so atm we're on borrowed time. 2 months ago when we had issues with paypal then the limestone host's site was bugged; they dropped support of OnApp and never said what it was. Well, it turns out it's the whole server we use for this and other things like cpanel/whm/our .com's. I've been window shopping tonight and see OVH is offering a decent one(plus another site). If you guys know of any good deals or are good at this sort've thing: now is the time.
ehh Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 http://ostk-clan.org/forums/index.php?/topic/819-hypothetically-1v1s/ wow ostk hates me
shaitan Posted October 23, 2018 Author Posted October 23, 2018 Just an fyi ladies and gents: @ravencame around lastnight and migrated everything to the new server. So give him a thanks! It works out pretty good, it costs us $0.39 more a month, but it's also off limestone. May be better when we get ddosed. Has 1 more cpu core and 30gb more hd space. 1
ehh Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 by everything, all the game servers too? seems good, cheers raven #fucklimestone
shaitan Posted October 23, 2018 Author Posted October 23, 2018 Game server ones aren't changed, this was what I said up there^.
Itai795 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 So if things go bad we can finally blame raven here too? (joking, thanks raven :) ) 1
raven Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 It'll take some time for the DNS to propagate worldwide, other than that everything seems to be ok. If anyone reports a problem elsewhere they can do the following: Open a command prompt Type /ipconfig flushdns Then try again. 2

If anyone reports a problem elsewhere they can do the following: Open a command prompt Type /ipconfig flushdns Then try again. Wouldnt help much if your DNS server is slow. Normally this is the case on ISP's DNS's In addition: Change your dns server to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 < Google DNS Just to be curious, Why is the website SELFhosted on the box? In holland we are able to host a website + domain for 36euro a year . And you have CPanel with it. Is that a option @shaitan? So if the box goes down, or the DNS , it stays up.
Cronus Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 It's not selfhosted on the box, its selfhosted on a dedicated webserver box.
