Hey everyone happy new year.

Just wondering if anyone else likes /misses this gun like I do. I just played a game where poor ddaplayer was trying to save fot one until his ref was destroyed and was a couple thousand shy. Any way the mods can look into maybe :

Dropping the price of the gun from the current ridiculous 40k?

Putting it in the game at random spots like other weapons 

Putting it in a cr8?

Just was curious if anyone likes this as there is nothing funnier than seeing tanks go flying and they struggling to regain control haaha hence my title gravity wooahhhh hahah. To be honest i would rather see this gun then cheap guns like pimps..

it was a worse incident than mods getting very fucking pissy at me while; others and i told rambo6 to stop saying racist stuff

If it was a build server I would say sure, why not? However I'm really against the price of the gravity gun being reduced.

 

 I find it far too game breaking to warrant the price being reduced. If anything I would like to see the price increased on pimp rocket too, as it's massively game altering.

I think the prices of current pimp weapons are fine, not a fan of the gravity gun at all it gets annoying after a short while especially when someone begins to teamhamper with it.

I couldn't think of nothing worse than say for example 8 people all with gravity guns, the game would be ruined IMO.

 

At least at 40k it's a deterrent to anyone wanting to misuse it.

We have moderators to deal with teamhamper, and it's a pretty obvious one: there are tanks flying

I'd say if kamehameha pimp rockets are in, so should be the gravity gun. If someone TH with it, we can always warn and kick and such

make it so the gravity gun only works against the enemy, then maybe consider a price reduction.

40k atm is a good price becase it is such a big team hampering tool.

I would vote NO to having it spawn in locations like the other pimp weapons

I think best thing would be to have the gun only work on enemy i was saying that in my head as I was writing this but didn't know if it was possible to write code for that to happen? Blacky probably laughing at me right now lol...

Seems like a lot of ppl are commenting worried about th possibility but I was also thinking the same as vlat....putting more onus on the mods to regulate the game if they saw someone th. I would think that the gun could be the same as a regular remote..in that you can still place motes on your teammates car and blow it up when they get out which would be th...same thing i would think can be applied to the gun...if someone gets their car th then they would be acted on then by mod. But best scenario is to have it work for enemy only as lots of times unfortunately there aren't any mods to view th being done...

Poor harvester is a victim of the gravity gun, it doesn't deserve this. Anyway, what I saw mostly is people using the gravity gun on the harvester and using that to block other players (including teammates). It's always sad to see it upside down in the field lol

unfortunately this is not possible without modifying the engine code. Gravity gun works solely on physical collision. It basically shoots out physical plane that only has vehicle collision enabled to lift a vehicle. The engine doesn't have collision by team.

When you guys are playing the game, how long into the map are they able to buy those easily? Originally I was thinking 1.5-2 hours before most got that kind of cash. Even at general it's still 34k to buy.

poor ddaplayer that one day was there for at least 2 hours and then someone took out his ref lol...I even got pissed because he was about 10k away ...so damn expensive frick...#bringbackthegravity
