He's got corrupted files, probably due to too much tinkering with skins and whatnot. We've seen that happen years ago with other players. I'll look with him ingame to see if he can solve the problem himself or if he needs help doing it. Either way, he can't abuse the "not seeing walls" glitch much longer.

I'll make a topic in the mod section to see with others what they think of it, we'll be back shortly here.

I thought TT fixed that already, have you tryed using !scripts on him? also anticheat doesnt allow custom W3D models oh and did you !screenshot him?

btw i saw a few guys using scripts 3.4.4, i guess we need a automatic message for peoples who not use TT patch.

There was another guy missing the RxD textures in the recent ss folder, I forgot about that. Yes, it's pretty much like a wallhax if you don't have the files.

Uhm well, i could take a look at this. I could put all textures into RXD islands and RXD Field and saving the maps as another name, then peoples wont need to download all textures seperate because of the TT map downloader.

POnder needs to delete his TTFS folder from this location : \Users\X\AppData\Roaming\Renegade\Client\ttfs
Once this is done, the next time he'll come ingame he'll download the right files. Otherwise the game will see those corrupt files there and think they're good, and allow him to play.
I'm giving him a few days to come check this and fix it. If he aint and keeps abusing shooting through walls, I'll have to kick him until he does.

I agree. Maybe i'm really out of touch with reality in general, and maybe I was never a good server owner/administrator/moderator or fuck, even a "player" - but this screams of hacks.

How do missing textures allow you to shoot you through walls? In theory - let's say he "can" see you perfectly clear. The texture is missing and it's like looking through glass. Does the "glass" exist? Is it bulletproof or can my bullets/shells essentially no-clip right through there? With the proper textures can I still shoot you thru the wall in that spot no problem? This looks like big head hacks from 2006..

I feel like having to go the extra mile to download textures off a site for maps that seemingly download through the client already is not only pointless but stupid, especially if it allows the average player to have exploitable advantages from jump street, versus players who go through one hassle to deal with another?...

thats true, missing textures doesnt allow to shoot thru walls (a westwood logo-texture would appear wich isnt transparent).

and if he had a corrupted .w3d map file anticheat will kick you out of game (i had this bug a few times, rejoin fixes it).

also a few weeks ago there was a damage hacker on Interim Apex...

Actually they do allow you to shoot through them, we almost banned some people for it a few years ago. The main one was Memo(aka thefirstmemohero/mahmoud/Eng{mahmoud_reda}), I made him send me a copy of his Renegade's appdata, swapped it for mine, went in game. It was interesting, in not having the textures("textures" may be over simplifying it, idk the correct terminology of what Blacky put there); you can shoot through them. @DaDuKe's topic made me rethink things when Memo's almost-ban came up.

It's something to do with their internet, it doesn't download everything from our TT resource manager(webserver). It isn't 'just' the ones we have on here that we get people to download, it's the main files too.

I would move the mods forum topic to public, but it's got some infighting in it(plus alot of links are broken in it). Here's a video of what I did that day, in replacing my ttfs folder with Memo's: 

Look near the end when I killed that mendoza, then think about that map and everything that normally stands between you and that guy in the tunnels there.

it is a custom map, so it might be all sorts of fucked, totally believable that you can shoot through walls.

I was going to say exploiting a bug constantly should be a banable offense, like how people used to climb the wall on field and get into the other teams ref, but that clip is fucking outrageous thats better some cheats ive seen LMAO
