Mikey, you said that you've been there too, so why wouldn't you wait for a 4th like they both wanted? The rest makes you look like an ass, and it's really why this didn't go as you thought it would. P.S. the guys who have said all that in the past: it's never gone their way either. The !disarm one is tricky. If he had just disarmed you out of the blue for no reason, it'd of went differently. After reading the chat you can see what their thinking was, and that I agree with. We don't need another rule on this, it'll turn out to be one more convoluted mess trying to keep it fair and trying to enforce. 1

Both players agreed to wait until another player joined the game. A mod made you aware of an agreement was made to wait until another player joined before you joined. Which the logs show, you didn't disagreed, nor agreed to wait. If you couldn't wait for one more player to join, then you deserved it. You sir, broke a rule and calling mod abuse. If I was in Ito5jb's shoes next time, I would gladly kick you for abusing the opportunity. ;) 1

You must be a newbie to this mod stuff, you don’t just tell people to do what you want because you’re a mod. (That would be mod abuse) He broke no rule, there isn’t a single one saying you should wait for more people to join before you start playing otherwise you’d get kicked/banned. Two guys decided THEY(not others) will wait for the server to get more populated before playing, then he joined, planted a beacon and the mod disarmed it even though he didn’t do anything wrong because the guy wouldn’t wait(which is basically abusing your power as a mod, he had no reason to do it other than he didn’t like it). There is no room for personal feelings when you’re a mod, “ohh boo you’re not doing what I said and now you upset me, i’ll ban you aww”. Does that sound like what a moderator should do? Nah. 1 1
Sean Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Hi guys, I tend to sit in the server and wait for people to join too, if there's only a few in, I'll request players just fool about for a bit until more people join, talk about setting a map to get the server started like field, under. I can't be clearer though, it is a request. If someone decided to ignore my request and play the game that they have joined to play, I wouldn't interfere with them. I'd certainly attempt to disarm the nuke using conventional means with a repair person, repair a building, get a tank to defend or kill someone by shooting them. I wouldn't go out of my way to disarm another player without first having evidence that it was either a tunnel nuke or was purposely spamming. I'd probably say a comment like not cool, would you mind waiting or something but that's it. That being said, talking shit to anyone isn't great, we're all here to play so that's what we should be able to do unimpeded. 1

Maybe in whatever game you mod no one really cares about what you do but in here it’s a totally different story. That’s not how a moderator works mind you. You’re supposed to watch for people breaking the rules, cheaters, fishy people, record whatever they’re doing and share it with others to prove what they were doing. You’re not supposed to abuse the power you have and make people do whatever you want just because you have the power to do so. Maybe you’re a kid or something that doesn’t fully understand that being a moderator is a serious thing. If people join your server and you’re being a dick to them, telling them to do stuff or they get kicked they’ll see the server as trash if people like you are in power and simply leave. It was a 2v1, two of them decided to wait and he didn’t want to because he has a choice, it’s not a commie fuckin server where the police tells you to do whatever they want or you fucking die. Instead of abusing the power to disarm that beacon they should’ve just started to play instead and maybe more people would’ve joined. But instead, they lost one and went back to two because the dude didn’t like the fact that he got disarmed trying to kill another building. Tl;dr you shouldn’t be a dick and abuse power because you don’t like something. 1
