We can't afford to have both a AOW/mara and a mara server up at all times... would split the player base and it's worthless. Better keep all the player together.

Some wants all mara, others wants AOW mix.

Chances: Aow's are 2, Mara's are 5.

I think we should keep the aow element too, it does promote more  team play and honestly is a nice break from Constant Mara

I voted no to marathon. When I log in to play Renegade, I’d rather not be stuck on a lone map for 2 hours, but hey....that’s just me.

I have mixed feelings on this.

A LONG Marathon game can frustrate you to the point of trying absolutely CRAZY sh*t, leading to the most fun or most epic comebacks I have ever witnessed, been part of, or lost to.

A long marathon game with everyone sniping or playing defense is absolute hell though. Is it worth the risk? I dont know.

When the ref is gone and you have nothing to buy, it's a shotgun war, which can be interesting if done right in teams

It should be marathon except for maps like under and field. Nobody wants a 6 hours field with ref vs ref. Bring hourglass back please...

Walls (and flying), Complex, Canyon, Islands and Volcano should be just mara.

For anything else, keep the AOW chance.

Sniping a mammy was something silly like 21 points a hit, people used to get GDI soliders and just hit the harv at the start, was so much cash to get you started.

Keep it the way it is if you ask me, sure sometimes you end up getting AOW when you want a long game, but its random but more likely going to be mara anyway

If you recall we just changed that not that long ago when the old timer CW people started playing again and wanting AOW(added the one extra chance for it being aow) more.

I'm sure all the maps in the rotation are ones the playerbase as a whole enjoys in one way or another.

Put up a super long poll, each map on there allowing people to vote if they want that particular one as AOW or marathon.

I'd prefer Walls_flying myself; Walls tends to get stale.

For Mara we have several different votes after an hour, for aow it would be nice to add a vote at the 40 minute mark to switch to marathon.  If enough people are enjoying themselves map continues, otherwise ends as normal.

A vote to add a timer after a certain time would be nice.

I don't care for Marathon but that would be my preference as I know some people like 3 hour Field hoarding......

 

Wish a vote could pop up on HUD like in source engine or such, a lot of people just ignore the vote, or pass by a player who wanted to vote but didn't know it was active. But it would be a bigger problem if it interfered with game play.

hmm my buildings health bar HUD + minelimit doesnt work anymore, tt patch removed some features, but i saw on GrayaSDF's server that he put custom text on the HUD.
