@SweAngel I just want to say even with all the measures in place in the UK our death toll is rising fast. +569 yesterday and +684 today so far. You guys really need to get locked down asap but I feel it may be too late now. I'm still shocked your country is going about its daily business as nothing has happened.

I went fo a nap yesterday, (work nights) woke up 1,5 hour later with fever, soar throat and achy joints, now 18 hours later I have a little problem to breath. So my boss put me in quarantine. In my work I'm super rigorous  when it comes to wash my hands and using hand sanitizer any day, and in this pandemic I have washed my hands raw, I've used mask when needed and still here I am sick.

So please stay safe and wash your hands.

Ohno, try to rest as much as possible, hope to hear good news.

My wife and I quarantined ourselves 3 weeks ago (living in NYC and saw the shitstorm coming), only went for a short grocery trips. Somehow it got to her as well, she has some symptoms (shortness of breath, fatigue, achy muscles, lost sense of smell and taste). I'm not 100% myself but in a much better shape, so either I'm almost a-symptomatic or I'll get sick in the next few days. Anyway this thing is super contagious, seems it's not very hard to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and get infected 😞

@Itai795 I hope your wife recover quickly and that you stay well ❤️ I'm at the same statues as yesterday, not better not worse.  I do miss the smell though, I got a bunch of wonderful lillies on my desk and not being able to smell them sux.

@rackz I hope you stay well ❤️ You, if someone konows how it feels when one is short of breath add some more problems and you feel pretty small and helpless.

I'm in pretty good shape normaly, but my husband is in the highrisk group times 3, so my worries are more towards what I drag with me home from work everyday. Now I'm not sick enough to get tested so we pray that this is just a flu I got.

I think you should care about Covid-19. A woman at my workplace has got asthma and she has had to take 12 weeks off work so she doesn't contract it. I know younger people think they are invincible to it but I'd be cautious about the situation especially with asthma.

Not just the asthma, but smoking is another "background disease" (whatever is the right English term for that).

The point of taking precautions is not that this virus, COVID-19, is going to wipe out this planet, or it will somehow go away, or "china bad murica gud" conspiracy bullshit. It is to slow down the spread so that healthcare systems can withstand the extra surge of patients and a vaccine/pharmaceutical intervention can be manufactured to combat it.

COVID-19 is not going anywhere anytime soon.

One of the reasons it is being spammed is for people like you. If your bum ass educates yourself and stops sputting bullshit, maybe people will stop. But, that would require some critical thinking. Try it, I hear it helps!

This has nothing to do with fear. Also Quran basically tells not to harm yourselves or others. I don't understand how you can use it as a justification. You may not have a respect for your own body or care to live but at least think of others, people who enjoy life. You're risking the lives of other people by not sticking to precautions (I assume), while all you had to do was social distance and wash your hands. There are doctors and other healthcare workers all round the world working selflessly day and night to save people and make it possible for us to stay safe at our homes, some even sacrifice their own lives for the sake of it. They're all doing that for you and billions of other people. So no one is asking you to fear, just be mindful, follow the precautions and please don't disregard the work of health workers and the lives lost by trying to belittle the coronavirus epidemic.

But still Rackz, please take care of yourself too. I love my all renegade friends and I don't want them gone.

No, seriously, as someone who has lung conditions himself (got a non-fully grown left lung), I've been suffering from pain in the chest area and  had breathing problems the past week. Decided to call my home doctor yesterday and they took scans of my lungs, and my left lung appeared to cause some worries so they had me corona-tested. 

Fortunately the test was negative, but the pain in my chest and breath problems remain. Received meds and they sent me back home lol. Now gotta wait & see I guess.

Just saying, for some people like me, corona causes quite a bit of distress since we are very vulnerable to diseases.

I've been sitting in the server for a few nights now and it make me so sad when some of You guys seems to think this is a joke.

To have a tempreture around 100-101 dosen't seem so bad, but when it goes on for over a week I can tell you that it drains you completly of all energy, add to that a terrible cough and some other nasty things. You wont be so though.

I am there right now, I can hardly walk upstairs without gasping for air and just 2 weeks ago I was running 7K 2-3 times a week.  I promise You, this is nothing to joke about.

I have to apologize, this isn't how a server administrator should be acting. I let it out really out of anger and exhaustion.

Rackz I know you've donated a lot to this server and you're part of Renegade's DNA just as we are. It's got nothing to do with fear or lack thereof. It's got to do with empathy with people who are suffering or who might die, because the virus makes no distinction. I don't fear the virus myself because I'm a young man but spreading it to other people can be catastrophic, regardless to what you fear or not. There's a really, really clear line between the fear you feel for yourself (which can be really none, as I can see) and fear for the world to collapse around us.

Then again you can come around and say you don't care about familly or friends, that they'll be fine or whatever. What I'm telling you is that the ward is chuck full of people who thought they were invincible just like you, only to die needlessly when the system is failing.

Just because you don't have lung problem like darkz or that you're young doesn't mean you're immune to spreading it. Think of the people a bit.

Our government like to claim us Swedes as something special, we are smarter, faster and over all so much better that most other countries in the world.

Well these days we are special, but not in any good way.

Yesterday the parkinglot at the largest departmnetstore (I talk about so large that people acctually rent cottages next to the store and shop for several days-big) in the country was packed.

So almost 3,5 week later I'm cleared to go back to work. Lets now hope we get immune once we had this othewise I'm screwed.😱

Not feeling happy to go back to work right now, got the words that 3 of our residents are in quarantine and 2 have stomach flu. There are not enough with protection gear for me and my collegues and tonight, due to the manfall at work, I will work alone with 12 souls in the house. 😷

If I'm lucky they might be able to "con" some poor person to come in and sleep in the staffroom and to be on call, I crosss my finger that they can at least solve that.

This week I have 6 worknights so I guess I'll see you all sometime next week.
