Learonys Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 (edited) I'm just dropping this suggestion here as there is a mechanic (that almost nobody knows about) that really favours Nod over GDI on RxD maps. Basically anyone with a flame suit (flamethrowers) are almost invulnerable to pimp proxies. Must be because of their damage type. Sometimes I buy an APC or stank just so i can clear an entire row of them easily after my tank blows up. GDI doesn't have anyone that can do the same, therefore my suggestion would be to make the prototype suit flame resistant. it's an expensive way of clearing mines, wouldn't change game balance in a significant way in any other aspect, and is somewhat counterable by scattering a few regular mines in the mix. Side note, what do people think of the idea of adding a chem/flame suit crate? I think it would make repairs in tib fields overpowered but crates are meant to be a fun addition anyhow, not necessarily balanced and should be rare enough anyhow to not significantly change the game balance. The only ones to ever complain about SBH having rockets are the "premium" snipers, who run wild over every other player. Let's give the snipers some tiny reason to watch their asses. And it is not as big an advantage as you might think anyways, because having tried it when I can find a rocket to pick up it is still hard to hs a good sniper because they are always moving and the rockets are slow.

I asked him if he could modify and add the pimp flamer to the vehicle that way it actually does a decent amount of damage like it should. and for that hon bug don't know why anyone hasnt modified and removed them spawners yet haha me and blacky were talking about that also.
