Laertes Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I was playing in RenCorner server earlier; the map was the one with the hut and the waterfall in the middle of it (can't remember the name) but i done rather well (in my opinion) and ranked up to Col i think; just wondering why those stats didn't carry? I'm not bothering i'm just wondering if it was a special server or something
WNxM45T3R Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 No they do not carry over, the main reason being that it would give our regular players too much of an advantage over casual players. You can find more information about the veteran system and server commands can be found ... http://rencorner.net/forums/index.php/topic/1445-aow-server-commands/ Server ranks can also be found here.. http://rencorner.net/forums/index.php/forum/33-renegade-ladders/
BillieJoe67 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 That was field; the veteran ranks reset at the beginning of every game so that everyone is on a level playing field. The overall ranks are done through brenbot, and can be viewed using !rank (overall rank) and !temprank (monthly rank, reset on the first of every month) Damn, master beat me by a few seconds 1
Laertes Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Worth asking Good idea in all fairness; Thanks guys I'll head back to the game now i've got the cmds
Volcom Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Basically the Veteran ranks you get: lieutenant, Colonel, General, etc., are per map. You gain rank points by killing characters, vehicles and buildings, repairing buildings and tanks, and disarming c4's, proximity mines, beacons etc. The more rank points you get the higher your veteran rank is giving you perks such as increased health. When the map ends veteran points get reset and you start gaining rank points all over again. Your overall rank will remain.
xFastIII Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Its not just map, if u get a vet ran then leave or dc , relog the srv and its still the same map your are back to officer cadet
