xFast and Reaper !tc command

when xfast and reaper in different teams, one of them leaves game for a few seconds so the other can use !tc, then he rejoins so they are in same team..

 

they do this every day.. u can see it on chat logs, always same person xfast and reaper, xfast leaves game, reaper types !tc and xfast rejoins..

 

i actually ignored it, but today they did it again and as result of it teams had become 5v7..

 

i told them just dont do it, not fair.. then xfast told me "go post it on forum"

 

im not sure if its in the rules(allowed or not), but just letting u know..

 

just wanna have fair and fun games..

Thanks for posting!  You are right, it ain't fair.  Someone needs to address this.  xfast is a mod, and knows better.  If he does it again, come to IRC and tell an admin.

I hope this isn't true.

 

The first priorty of a moderator is to keep the games fair and they should switch teams if they are unbalanced, whatever the circumstances.

 

xFastIII is a perm temp moderator and as such should be aware of this. If not I'll be having a chat with him.

 

I know, from TS, he's a competitive player but I have to add that when you talk of unbalancing teams unexpected AFK's have the same effect.

 

You know what I mean Mylo, Big Mac breaks, etc.

 

Beware of Pot, Kettle, Black Syndrome.

k as i explaned to ik in game 10 sec before i told him where to go

 

i am not sure if it's server side or my pc, but when a new map loads 10% of the time i get a graphic glich bit like FPS i have spoke to dronz about it ut he's not 100% sure what it is,

to fix this FPS lag i have to relog the server as i relogged reaper421 !tc'ed when i rejoined i was unable to use !rtc "you have alrdy started playing the game ...."

 

as a Temp mod i cant use the !forcetc command so i coundlt change back.

 

but since we are on topic of "haveing a cry" i would like to ask IK to stop with the horse comments towards uk players 1. it's rude and disrespectfull 2. the horse meat game from outside the uk and uk people did NOT know it was within the food.p.s

 

 and p.s dont join a game to afk.

 

if u would like to conact me personaly ur welcome to pm me. 90% of the time ur an ok guy but when things dont go ur way u rly do like to cry it out.

if u think i did this on purpose joe , then your more than welcome to remove my mod status, i told every 1 on Ts i play on this server and with these players cause they seem to be mature members and even if i wasnt made a mod i would still stay here.

well this isnt first time it happened..

 

i think i saw it happened like 10 times in last 2 weeks..

 

everytime its xfast and reaper, xfast leaves, reaper !tc and xfast rejoins..

 

if u have logs u can see it..

 

anyway all i want is fair game..

 

xfast is a good guy and reaper is too, both of them tp and fair players..

 

and they do this cuz maybe they r good friends and wannabe on same team, so im sure they dont mean to cause any unfairness..

 

well if im wrong, and it is as xfast explained then im sorry, if im right pls just dont do it and lets all enjoy the fair gameplay..

 

me going afk u r right, ill try not to afk or just leave the game..

Post a screenshot of the glitch if you want someone to take recommend steps to take to get rid of it, or send it to the TT team so they can fix it if it's an issue.

 

With regards to the unfair teams, it would be common sense to give temp moderators access to a dumbed-down !forcetc that only works if, and only if, teams are unbalanced.  That way they could rectify issues such as this without intervention from a higher moderator.

 

Finally, as a British person, I don't find the horse meat business offensive or disrespectful and I'll happily joke about it although I can understand if you do find it offensive.

I think you reloaded after a new map started due to low fps, then on times when you are on different teams, Reaper does a !tc and switches teams.  You then rejoin on the side you left from which is now Reapers team also, thus creating and imbalance between GDI and NOD.

I don't know your age, but you need to realize that your temp mod status gives you responsibilities, such as setting examples.  so far, in less than a week, you failed.  If you have done it in the past, don't do it in the future.

Honestly...

 

xFast is a pretty chill guy. I don't think he would do something like this on purpose, Joe you need to chill a bit. 

 

For 1, I think xFast is new to the whole moderating thing. 2, this is his first offence. 3, we learn from mistakes and (hopefully) learn from them (I'm sure you all know that I used RGH in the past?)

 

This isn't about confessing, however, so back on topic....

 

Because this is a first offence, we should give xFast the benefit of the doubt that it is really a issue with his computer and hope it doesn't happen again/gets fixed. If there is a issue with his computer/internet/whatever it may be, xFast you should post something in the Technical Difficulties section of the forum for assistance... I know we got some brilliant people here. Hopefully the internal error can be fixed (Cronus, maybe Blacky and WhiteDragon are pretty smart people when it comes to these types of errors).

 

I'd like to see less mods jump the gun and kick the moderator in question while he/she is already down and perhaps think "oh, he might be telling the truth". You'd be amazed how much of a difference it may be to other people when you give them a chance to redeem themselves..

 

Thanks iK for bringing this up, now that it has been addressed, it will be watched that this type of thing doesn't happen.

Temps had always had access to !forcetc, it's one of the tools I have always given them. The bot probably just wasn't updated with that yet.

I didn't advocate removal, Billie, it was just a warning.  He is 28, not a kid.  He can have just as much, if not more fun, killing Reaper as he can being on the same side.

They've only !rtc'd twice this whole month(while my IRC has been up). I just did a search on "xFastIII and Reaper421"  and  "Reaper421 and xFastIII"

lets say it was 7 nod vs 7 gdi. if i leave and reaper TRYEd to tc it would say (team are ballanced)

if it was 7 nod vs 6 gdi and i leave reaped TC's and i rejoing it would be 6 nod vs 7 gdi

 

howz thats un ballanced? either way 1 team would have a less player.

 

as for the FPs or lag glich w/e it is, i'll get a vid n prove it even if i gota record with my fone to prove i not talking BS

I don't really have a say for this, I understand your point mylo on how you are upset at teams being uneven, but then again I don't doubt xfast with his problems.

ok, you have to open it on youtube and change to 720p, still not the best quality.

 

in the top right u'll see my FPS at the start of the map drops to like 20-30, i relogs it go's back to 60+ np

 

i have to do this 90% of the maps. and this is what i did last nite.

Personally.. if a person Leaves and the other person has a choice to !tc, they can... I see ur point ik4.. but i get this problem so many times too due to my crappy Computer.. There has been witnesses on teamspeak how my computer really works..

 

i dont think its steve's fault...

And i also dont think every1 should be ganging on him either..

 

Let this matter be how it is.. And I'll see if i can fix his problem with renegade..

I get this bug myself so I know he isn't lying.

 

Not saying he is or isn't doing the tc thing i'm staying out of it, but yeah that bug as mentioned does exist some 4.0 bug.

i thought it was due to rescent graphics update, and spoke to dronez about it (every 1 seems to talk to dronez or volcom) but he wasnt 100% sure what it was caused by

majority of the time i only !tc when i don't want too be on a certain team, not because of xFast is on a team but cause i like playing on nod most of the time!!  if i chose too play on gdi it's cause of the players / map i know i can work the best at these times!!  IK4 your a good tp too, and i like playing with you on  my team!!  but at any time if you see something of this nature arise it's not cause i did it cause i want too be on someones team, but i do like winning!!  and also i believe in far play, cheats, glitches and unfair teams i do not enjoy, cause makes the game crap!!
