Forithow Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 (edited) Another new map that I've created, think of it as Creekdale_Flying + Islands combined together, and there's no annoying bushes in it. It's a coastal alpine map that leads into a beach with flying vehicles enabled. WF and HON have catwalks connecting to the middle mountain area. Tunnels connect to each base and to the middle mountain area too. Samsites are on this map and they are pretty deadly against any aircraft units, but they can easily be taken out (1 timed c4). Here are some screenshots: Also @shaitancould you please add more new maps to the server to spice up the rotation a bit? (and maybe new sounds since @InspectorGadget wants some lol). Also could add in some new maps into the maplist like @trunkskgb maps and my maps as an example. I know people will have to redownload pretty much everything again anyway but it doesn't take that long and it'll be good for long-term. Lots of regulars are willing to have some new maps on the server and the current rotation is a bit stale since we had it for so long, so it'd be nice if we could have that option. InspectorGadget Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 yeah i mean i wouldn´t even add the new maps to the rotation instantly, just make sure they´re available so we can test them out when we feel like it. oh and if you upload things please don´t forget my inspectorgadget theme, i´m waiting for quite a while now :) also agree with removing oasis flying. bringing back sand might be cool. 2

I agree with the inspector, adding your new maps to the pool so we can play with them and test them, before adding them to the rotation. However, no need for radical changes in the rotation. This server/community holds out fine with the stock maps + some good quality fan maps. No need to go even half the way MPF is. And remove oasis 2
Forithow Posted May 10, 2022 Author Posted May 10, 2022 (edited) @shaitan So I decided to finally revamp this map and fix the bugs that were causing it to crash the server (it shouldn't crash the server anymore). I also added in the TOW humvees from Niagra instead of the rocket humvees since I know you like those :p. Map is renamed to Coast_Flying to avoid version mismatch, and below is the vehicle drop locations: GDI_Vehicle_Drop_X=96.960 GDI_Vehicle_Drop_Y=169.520 GDI_Vehicle_Drop_Z=-0.450 GDI_Vehicle_Drop_Facing=90.000 Nod_Vehicle_Drop_X=-13.247 Nod_Vehicle_Drop_Y=-158.410 Nod_Vehicle_Drop_Z=-0.598 Nod_Vehicle_Drop_Facing=270.000 You don't have to add this to rotation if you don't want to, can be a one-off thing like with Creekdale_Flying Edited May 10, 2022 by Forithow 1

Thanks Should mention that these are edited textures that I made myself which looks similar to the renHD textures but not the same as the renHD textures, but since you insisted, I will remove them

When we make the mod compatible with other servers they will be pulling the high res textures if you just leave the stock ones, we just need a few more weeks to fully work the basic compatibility details and then ppl will be able to see these HD textures. *Yeah, I'm doing this against my own will inspite the recent treat I'm getting from half the staff here* 1
