Hi everyone sorry for being gone so long. Currently reinstalling all my tools for renegade.Please tell me everything wrong with the server. Working on updating to scripts 4.7 Update 3.

FIX HON BUG ON FIELD RXD

so many times I've spawned in twice and its torn up my K/D

Not sure if it's something you would be working on as it's with the launcher maybe? But when joining sometimes the screen is teeny tiny and you get trapped like a rat. Logging out and logging back in makes it full screen. . Sometimes. .

It was fixed in this updated version. A lot was changed not just fixing collision as you can see.

Will we finally get the release of other RxD maps, like City/Hourglass etc? (maybe even Walls_RxD, oooo).

Perhaps add in buyable Recon Bikes/Tow Humvees and rotatable MRLS like on Niagra, and change time of day/weather on RxD maps to differentiate them a bit more than the regular ones (e.g. Field but daytime, etc), sometimes I forget if I'm on a RxD map even if the texture is different, lol

 

This is minor but people have complained that there's more FPS drops on RxD maps than other maps, possibly due to extra emitters or VIS or something along those lines? Not sure what the exact issue is

Remove spawn protection, it's almost impossible to kill buildings in matches with 2-3 bldgs

We can change weather type, I'm not sure if that does day/night.

They're running potatoes.

It's staying at 2 seconds to stop spawn campers.

What about the AFK auto-kick? Quite a few times in the past year, I am kicked for being AFK, but I am standing still repairing a building. Once I get the pop-up, I cannot recover. Rather annoying.

Haha I got kicked while in a med tank on snow cos I went to toilet and got a drink and it was Barr v Hand ( great battle, it was! )

Last night after you left it got legit. We had real teamwork for three or four maps in a row. Like legit lol. Including even a 9 stank rush on walls! And even a 6 gunner rush to kill refinery on one of those new maps i don't even know the name of. . Was pretty awesome.

I've also got kicked for standing still repairing tanks... too short

It's probably a map with custom scripts.dll in the mix. It has happened too me to and it can be fixed by deleting the unused DLLs.

I'm sorry but if you are smoking a cigarette you should leave the game and come back.

Only reason to increase time is for what trunks mentioned when you might not do any actions that counts as being not-afk. When you are in fact away-from-keyboard, that's exactly when you should be auto kicked.

What else doesnt work:

- BRenBot recalculate ranks/global rank not sure which taking too much time after new map load. Then it spams killsounds when its recalculated also ingame commands doesnt work.

- BRenBot wrongly parse colors on IRC when u using numbers in chat or have even numbers in nickname

- BRenBot recommendations plugin havent !n00bs command and !shown00bs but original integrated module had that. Also missing recs sound = bonus_complete.wav

- BRenBot kill sounds start lagging with 30+ players (test it with console command: botcount 50 locally when BRenBot will parse more lines)

- BRenBot donator list divide to more lines on IRC (actually u dont see all donators even if they are on the list)

- in game u can still see stealth vehicle with bind icon (should be fixed in latest DA by Unstoppable I think)

- Field_RxD HoN Bug = one click for u since u have .lvl files also its posted here on forums somewhere.

- Would be also nice revide all maps which are active from latest TT Maps release and make it all compatible for bots by moonsense715

Hi thanks for you for this. I did know about the IRC color issue. I just finished porting server with rxd da scripts 4.7 update 3. Looks like it fixed !fds botcount.

Ignore this message for stock maps, they are already configured. For fan maps like tomb, niagra, rxd stuff, etc you need to make sure paths are defined in LE and that there are no obstructions for wayfinding. Apparently, using the right door models is also required but I haven't done this myself.

Don't leave any blank lines in any of the cfg files.

yoimdrunk sets up a macro as a soldier and sits at PT, worse then just sitting there cause he's actively staying in the game :P

AFK repair should be allowed right lol. I stopped smoking about 2 - 3 years ago now so I might not go afk as much often now lol.

I sorta agree, if you plan on afk repping for a little bit and coming back, but if we completely allow it then matches like field and under would last ages. People would leave their pc for a while making it basically impossible to kill buildings. Also good job on quitting smoking, I've heard it can be tough

i once was spy and had to go to the toilet and then i came back and got kicked cause i took too long 4 minutes is too short, espescially when a map lasts multiple hours. i don´t know how hard it is to implement but maybe a "joker solution" would be optimal here. you can type !afk once per map and go afk up to ten minutes but you can only use this joker once per map, to avoid people abusing it and going afk all the time

I already upped it...it could take anywhere from 10-30 minutes. So, keep that in mind when you're complaining about teams + afkers.

P.S. When someone came up to you and pressed 'E'(poke); it cut the kick time. 

P.P.S it was set for about 8 minutes, and that was because you guys complained it was too long at the time.

P.P.P.P.P.P.S Make up your fecking minds.

Seeing as I "may" have started this, and I understand WHY you guys do it, it just sucks when I join a marathon map, and I repair either tanks or my buildings because there is no teamwork. I get kicked. I'm there, but I'm not moving. It happens enough to become annoying and for me to mention.
