Server Muted?

Some homo sapien named Manuel857 muted me so now I can't coordinate with rushes, report incoming enemy homos to help defend base, donate, chat with friends, use voice commands, participate in votes or use server commands, etc.

Manuel told me about this in my Bike thread which was whack. He muted me like a day and a half later which was also whack.

@Manuel857 Revoke the mute. All you're doing by muting me is hampering team play possibilities in a team oriented game with people who don't give a fuck about some ebonics slang lol. As I said in my bike thread:

"It was late at night and there were only like two guys playing on RenCorner. APB's server had like 4 guys AND over 10 fully functional bot players on each team. These bots buy vehicles and even repair buildings when you tell them to with radio commands! You gotta admit that is really cool. Those two guys aimlessly dicking around by themselves on RenCorner were missing out. So I reached out to them with a friendly gesture. I'm sure their psyches were not damaged from my usage of that adorable word."

No one complained or got upset over that word except for you it seems. What I said was the term of endearment version of the N word. This version is widely accepted thru plenty of social media platforms. Like YouTube. You're allowed to say that word there no problem. You can say it on Reddit too. Twitter even. And you know why? Because it's not considered racist. Therefore no rules were broken and therefore your mute is illegitimate,

That's funny; if I held the other owners to that standard, what makes you think you can get around it? He'll unmute whenever, didn't see a time limit.

Rules are rules bruh, its probably not a long term mute anyway as its a first time offense presumably.

 

Its pointless comparing RC's rules to other websites, RC reserves the right to enforce its own community rules.

Twitter has almost no moderation, or rather its moderated badly, it also shows beheadings, and all kinds of shit.

Reddit for the most part leaves it moderation down to a sub by sub basis, except for site wide rules, so if you were to treat rencorner as a sub, we have our own rules

Youtube has no moderation what so ever and just hide behind "its user powered content"

I'm concerned about the fact you joined in to promote another server / suggest other players to leave RC and join another server.

And I still don't understand who you really are and what's your agenda.

i think his agenda mostly consists of annoying everyone into implementing recon bikes on all maps with very little chance off actually happening.

lol are you kidding me? All three of those websites will ban any content they don't like. With youtube your comments will be hidden or auto deleted if you talk about anything that goes against political narratives. Those sites are HEAVILY moderated especially twitter and Reddit. But even they don't seem to mind that word.

Uhhh what? Get around what? I just told you they don't censor that word. Gimme a time frame for unmute. I was unable to coordinate stank rushes last game I played.

Relax son. No one was playing on RenCorner, I was just reaching out to all the sparsely populated Renegade game servers at that time and inviting the one or two guys on them to try out APB. Agenda? lol are you serious? You think I have some hidden evil agenda? lmao I just wanna play a videogame where we kill each other with guns and tanks and lasers. Looks like violence is OK but bad words aren't. THAT'S AMERICA FOR YAH!

@moononrenegade On the forums yeah but in game I play the game, I help with tank rushes and use artillery all the time. I'm the guy trying to secure the field. People told me to make a forum post about Recon Bikes so I did. So far not a single person here has been able to explain why bikes would be overpowered and upset the balance. As a guy who played this game since it came out and thus have become bored with the vehicles I'm amazed that no one is interested in using the only two wheeled vehicle in the game, and was also a staple unit for Nod in the original Command & Conquer game.

Get around the rules/justify using that type of language. It isn't a debate, I don't care what other places allow/disallow; it's not allowed here.

Wasn't aware the moderators wet the bed that easily. Moderators are supposed to stop cheaters, team hamperers and spammers. I didn't use that word in a hateful manner during a full match. Manuel wasn't enforcing any rule he was just virtue signalling.

That's a problem, because it wasn't Manuel. I guess it was Noot/Magi. I doubt anyone's in any hurry to unmute you, not after seeing these topics.

lmao oh ok fair enough. I left the match so I didn't see the mute enacted. Manuel was the one who told me about it days later in my forum thread though, so you understand why I assumed he did it days later.

OK then thanks for clearing that up. As for the Karen meme? lol I ain't the one wetting the bed over a widely used word that no one really cares about. That'd be Magikarp. So... I need to talk to him.

@Magikarp That word did not affect the two guys playing at the time. They weren't offended in the slightest. Advertising? lmao I'm not making money off this you dummy. Come on... next to no one was playing on RenCorner at that time, so I figured I'd invite the two guys over to APB for a bit so they can check out another Renegade game. There's no harm in doing that. I'm not like Fr3nZy who goes into an 18 player Interim Apex server and demands everyone go to RenCorner.

Anyways gimme a time frame. All you've accomplished with this mute is hamper any team I am on because I cannot coordinate with rushes, etc. So lemme know when this mute expires.
