Those OVH guys are hit and miss, sometimes they'll respond in a day or two...once three weeks later. I'll send them a ticket after this. I'm no pro, but that looks bad and you keep dropping after Illinois to Canada.

OVH says there's nothing wrong with the internet end to/from the server(they tested to your IP, as well).

They want you to double check your antivirus/logs to see if it's blocking you in some manner.

Also, download Teamspeak, and see if you can connect to our ts at: ts.rencorner.co

Hence why I’ve asked him to try another computer on his own ISP to see if he can connect to the server.

but yeah I think something on his own PC is blocking as he can join other servers no problem.

UksRene, can you help me understand that?

I would think the opposite, as one day my computer could access all servers and the next day it could access all servers but Rencorner .  Why would my computer auto change settings for only one server?

It would make a ton more sense if something changed servers side.

I just copied the server, and it's now on the other pc we have. Join it, and still do the Teamspeak post.

some antivirus bs makes sense, no? u were able to download and play for a bit, but then your antivirus didn´t like something so it put it in quarantine or whatever and now it doesn´t let you download again?

I've been able to play in the Happy Birthday server with some old Pits and Jelly players.

I've reinstalled the game and done everything client side that can be done.

Only Rencorner  server kicks me.

Too bad no one there knows how to fix it server side or just white-list me.  

I am defacto banned. Only the admins can let me in now.

With all due respect UKsRene, aren't you making a delineation without a difference.

Something on rencorner (& only rencorner)  server prevents Me, specifically me, from joining.

for whatever reason Rencorner chooses not to "white-list" me , so decisions made by your admin team keep me out.  That is the definition of a ban.

Too bad, I would be a generous donor and a regular player.

That doesn't make any sense, RC does not have a whitelist of any kind and if you were banned then they'd say that you're banned and explain why, like bans are very explicit and RC wouldn't lie to you about that, especially because they do want new or returning people to join the server since there's not that many so you wouldn't be handed a ban for absolutely no reason. Also people in this thread, especially the owner of the server wouldn't go all out this way to try and help you to join the server, I haven't seen this much support before and I appreciate everyone trying to help, just don't be delusional or take what people say in the forums in bad faith please.

There's a Server called RCTest Marathon (or RCTest AOW) that Shai has set up for you which is online right now (when I made this post), try to join that server.

We never did have a whitelist(except the times we tried during ddosings), but I did add him to the firewall in one the other day.

It's not a port issue, otherwise you wouldn't have been able to download anything. You're placing the blame square on us, but, the easiest thing would be for you to directly ask your ISP if they have this server blocked in some manner(or your a/v). Which, happens to people sometimes.

You are not banned, any ban we do would show it. Your client tries to [Connect] and that's as far as you ever get.

Join the backup server to see if you can join that. It is literally a copy of this server, just hosted at our old server IP. That'd tell me whether it has anything to do with that current server build(who the fuck knows, maybe).

I do appreciate all the attention guys.  It's just that I played in your server one day and the next day got this message. I changed ISP to cell Hotspot and still couldn't get back in. It's not client side.

Unable to join the RCTest Marathon server. Same error. But thanks for setting it up

I can join literally all other servers on W3D. 

I realize you don't have a white list. But, howabout just me?  I'm not above buying my way in.  White-list me and I will donate $100

Yours is the craziest issue I've ever seen here. It looks like your pc/net is trying to get filenames that don't exist. The real files it should be looking for is what I put below the error logs.

To add to the confusion: "h%14%7Br%04_%25%0B%06%18%04s%06" appears both after 93C38404 and ECC9769E. I would have expected it to be the very least different.

I thought it may be some coded html (like when you type whitespace to the URL, the browser covert it to "%50" or something like that) or another coding algorithm, but I can't find the right conversion, so it might be just junk.

 

Shai, perhaps the people at TibericanTechnologies / scripts can take a look at this? I'm not in the tech scene of Ren, but the download manager was introduced by them if I'm not mistaken.

Didn't get me into the rencorner server.

I tested other servers, I can indeed apparently get into any other server.

Whatever the script anomaly is, it only prevents me from Rencorner

Did you try to join rencorner test server that’s up ?
