Website Upgrade

Website has been upgraded since it has been crying about it for ages...

However the shoutbox has gone walkabout, trying to bring it back now.

If you spot any other issues let me know

RE: Shoutbox, had to use a new plugin, will attempt to migrate all the old messages over.

Can you guys give it a good test, and if you can't see it, let me know

no recent activity from me is shown. if i´m not mistaken usually i see my latest posts there but i didn´t check it for months so can´t say for certain this is the forum updates fault.

Hmm I think recent activity got wiped sadly, I could attempt to bring the old records back to live, but I suppose it isn't a crucial feature

can do without. the shoutbox only shows 2 lines of text for me. the old one did like 4 or 5 which i think is better.

Some of that will get fixed, running those processes atm manually.

I can make the shoutbox bigger, this one is a little chunkier than the previous one though, il make it 3 to test though

Just another note on this, we've completely moved from rencorner.co to rencorner.co, at the very most, I am expecting there to only be problems with dead links/attachments, let me know if you see any!

A pet peeve with me is the line that has Show me, Content Types, Read Status, well, the Time period defaults to 365 days, I have dealt with this for years and it is annoying, I set it for last visit, leave and when I return it is set to 365 days.

Look under the line and to the right of "Unread Content.  It goes: Show me, Content Types Read Status, Solved, Ownership, Following, Time Period

You need to save your changes, give it a name, then in the dropdown above that "Stream Options" set it as your default

Actually I did save the changes, I didn't set it as default, I'll give it a try, Thanks Vult.

If you are expecting that feature to highlight topics and whatever from the last visit on the forums, I don't think it does that.
It looks like its intended to only give you a breakdown within that screen, since last visit(or however you config it)

What I expect is what it says, for it to show me the posts since my last visit.  As it is now, (default 365) days,I get posts I have already seen that are 1-2 weeks old.  Glad it isn't from all year. :P
