Hyptotic able to buy secret characters?

Not sure you guys noticed but I've definitely noticed, Hyptotic is able to buy the characters from the extras menu somehow. On Bio he was a prison officier which I know you definitely can't get from a crate, before he was able to buy elena petrova constantly, lockes and logans etc. I know you can get locke/logan/elena from crates, but not the prison officer? I kept trying to ask him how he does it but he doesn't seem to read the chat

I know it's not much in terms of cheating, it's very minor especially because those characters aren't really anything special compared to the regular characters but bit weird that he's able to buy them even though we can't access the extras menu since the RC server is a laddered match.

Think bio has alternate characters built into the map.  They are alternates for some of the infantry and not from the secret menu I believe.

I dont get it also. I dont see any alternate characters on Field_RxD.

The creator of Bio added them into the mix file so they are set up as custom alternates for the normal set of characters ingame.  You do not need to access the secret character menu to buy them in this map specifically.

Actually I just tested it, unless something is different or I had the wrong version there are not alternates for the normal characters.

 

I know there is a way to access some of them on this map specifically just can’t remember how.

We need a rene-detective, so he's only doing it on a very certain map(bio)?

It is possible to buy them on certain maps (including bio) without using the extras menu.
