Tonight this spontaneous gunner rush for GR8BIGGUY got organized. So I thought I'd post it for him here :-). It did not kill the Nod refinery, but the next gunner rush which I didn't manage to get on video did. Take care, GR8!

Good morning 

I talked to his wife the other day, I didn't get much information, but what I know is that they tweaked his meds a bit and it seems to help him.

But I know for sure the filmclip Goztow posted made a lot to lift his spirit. So if you guys and girls are good with making them, please post them here to cheer him up. His wife has the link to this post and I know they check in now and then. So please when we/You make a gunner rusch or any other hopefully epic rusch and have time, make a litte filmclip so we in that way include the man, the myth and the legend, Gr8BigGuy in the game

dammn thats rough i'm sorry SweAngel for your health issues i also hope you're doing better now.  the renegade community has not been growing much the past few years we can't afford to lose anymore members i wish you a speedy recovery also!!! 

We all started here so young most of us grew up logging countless hours of ren and other games with our squeeky voices on ts having a blast not worrying about a thing other then a stank/med rush, letting the games mute the real world for a bit now we are all older and as expect health is apart of that journey also i wished we could all stay young and be good looking like havoc or sexy like a hotwire haha but that's not the case. I hope everyone takes care of themself a bit so we can log as many more hours together before our chapters close.

Gr8bigGuy that's sad i've played tons with this dude over the years in pub games and he's been a great addition to any team he is on. he's got a good soul and  kind heart, Gr8 i wish you a speedy recovery and hope you're doing better buddy! you kick it's ass and get well soon so we can have you back in game fam!

Hi all.

This is one of the hardest things I ever had to write. I talked to BigGuys wife today and unfortunally I have some bad news.

BigGuy went for a CT scan last week and the result was not good. The cancer had doubled in size.  They have had a meeting with a hospice worker today, so he will have the best of care and they will keep him as comfortable as possible for the time he has left.

So as You all probably already guessed it's the worst possible news. They say he has 3 months left but as his wife said "you never know" .

I will keep You updated.

Damn, I only found out about this tonight while in game, as I rarely frequent the servers. Very sad to hear this :( Gr8Bigguy is one of THE legends of the game, and I remember seeing his name since the early days.

Wish I had the chance to play with this guy in a few matches. The amount of response to his condition an such is heartwarming.

I will also pray for him. If theres one thing Ive heard though, is never go with just what one cancer center says. There could be talented doctors at the other site hundreds of miles away. Shame though, this advice is late.

God saved me more than twice. I will ask he do the same for Tom (if thats his name).

I have just learned about it in the game and it was really heartbreaking and sad to hear that. Our prayers are with you and wish you a speedy recovery. You really never know what happens indeed. Would he like to be added to the pool of bot names? If someone plays a game vs AI the bots(in singleplayer or multiplayer) have random player names and he can be added to the pool of names that appear.
