AFK place/jail w.e u want to call it.

Uhm i am in for an AFK jail thing on RC like MPF has. I don’t say it was a mods fault to do so, but kicking an afker in a 2v2 with server not really filling up lately because of MPF, is a bit lame. They come back and think, well fuck that, if i get kicked so soon already, i might as well just join MPF where people can be afk, but have a jail time. 

Consider this please!! It doesn’t have to be called the same as MPF but it sure is a nice mod to have. 

No one will shit about afkers any longer and mods can play the game, without having to look for them in spec mode.
 

A mod is doing his job correctly by kicking AFKers, don’t take me wrong. However they will stay away, thats why i ask you all to take this seriously and consider to add it to the server.

 

it will make things a lot easier for you moderators as well. Thanks.

It’ll be a useful feature to have. My question is if someone like yoimdrunk is afk repairing does the afk kicker will work.?

I think it detects based on movements so yes i think that works. But thats what you got to have to look into. Not sure, but also haven’t seen anyone afk repping there. And might be because of the afk jail system, that they can type !afk and go there rather than having the risk to get kicked for beiing afk. Thats why they probabbly afk repair in the first place.

We will not  use AFK jail feauture because I will not argue with them again how they acussing me for using their ideas or codes. Remember drama about WOL/XWIS hostnames and sorting servers in a list? Who had top hostname also had most players. Thats reason why TT changed sorting servers to that their actual player count. Ren multiplayer support only GDI and Nod side thats how is WOL/XWIS designed and game also. Any other sides like mutant/renegade/unteamed can cause server crashes. AFK jail feauture is only faking player counts and reporting them on renlist (gamespy). Like last time when I checked their server they had 14 players and 9 was in afk jail so in reality only 5 players played but they was on a top in a list because they had 14 players connected.

RenCorner have own AFK implementation which only reports AFK players on IRC for testing purposes since its more complex of code which is taken from scripts v.2x/3x era and ported to scripts v4.8. So Im gonna only implement that auto kicks now.
