Eric constant mod abuse

Not that another thread is needed about this, but Eric just muted me ingame for saying "2 EZ" after killing him...I know I am not the first person to complain about him, but below you can see more proof about this.

Many mods ingame, nobody said anything, other people using caps as well, only I got muted (because only I killed him). Here is the full chat log;

@Manuel857 and @MarcPoulet saw this the other day as well....Eric starting shit for no reason, I wasn't even doing anything, we were just having a laugh in game....This needs to stop.

I know he already got demoted from admin/mod to only developer, and although he isn't a mod ingame, he can still kick/mute people from IRC which I believe should be removed from him, because he isn't a mod anymore.

It's not first time. You was also muted before and I'm not sure if you wasn't kicked or banned for impersonating other nicknames. Next time paste full logs and not only part which you needed. If I'm not a moderator in game doesn't means I can't be on IRC. I'm still dev and can do moderator actions if situation require it.

1) using caps in game is 100% allowed, per the chat log, multiple people were using caps, but only 1 person was muted? That doesn't make any sense

2) your a not a mod ingame, you should not have the ability to moderate the gameplay from IRC, there were at least 3-4 others mods in the server at that time (names are visible in the chatlog) and they all thought I was doing nothing wrong, so took no action....You are the problem here Eric, not me. Sometimes I am the problem, lord knows I aint no saint, but definitely not this time...

3) this is not the first time you've done this, other mods/admins don't know what your problem is, because they told me I wasn't doing anything wrong and to just ignore you

4) this is the full chatlog, post it from IRC then for the same timestamps, it will 100% match

5) I never impersonated other nicknames, what are you talking about? Never kicked, banned or warned about anything like that....

Eric, stop moderating. You quit as a mod, mainly, because it caused too much additional drama. Your own thought process on it that week was to stick with developing.

We have no rule on caps, and that trolling aspect does not apply...because this ain't what it was meant for.

Eric is being bashed for not a few things lately, and I'm not writing it to debate whether he should or shouldn't be, but I think that's a good opportunity to remind everyone of another, important, side. This is not meant to be a specific response to ILL's complaint, but rather a general reminder to everything going on lately related to Eric.

Eric is doing a terrific work as the server developer. Quoting Shai from about 1 year ago, RenCorner was held by duct and tape. Eric invested, and still invests, a lot of his time in building us a solid server. It's highly notable how quick he works to fix bugs or implement new features that are requested (by players or mods). And like the rest of the staff, he doesn't get paid for that.

I'm not saying people shouldn't speak when they feel they were unjustifiably treated. However, I'd like everyone to keep Eric's contribution in mind whenever making one.
