kempi23 Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 I'm sure by now everyone knows I'm the guy that says "STANKS MEET STRIP" but there's a reason for it. If no one coordinates a rush then the games will go for 3/4 hours and that's no fun. The game was intended for strategy and team work. GDI and NOD have their special qualities and are suppose to get the edge on the other. That's why this game is so great. Anyways I say all this to say, can we be more aware and try rushes instead of aimlessly wondering. I mean maybe I'm the last of the Mohegan's I'd like to see more high level play for sure though...

Viss882 Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 It depends on my mood. sometimes I like the long marathon games. You feel war-torn and battle weary, and that's fun. You might have 50 kills but you have 200 deaths and some of them are spectacular sacrifices. other times I like the teamwork for an easy victory, but you really need the teamwork because if you have 3/4 of your team sitting and waiting for two more tanks, you're likely going to lose field advantage or even a building. It's my opinion that if you're waiting to rush, you don't sit in the middle of your base. You sit on one or both sides if the field is connected and there's more than one exit in your base, then you can at least defend against an enemy rush or attack that much quicker once you are ready. another bad thing is when you get some very good teams together and the map doesn't even last 5 minutes, you'll get three or four people that have been on the losing end of five rounds in a row and then it's not fun for them anymore. They quit and then other people quit because they don't want to play with less than 20 players, then more people quit because those remaining players don't want to play with only 10, then the server dies for hours. bad players on good teams make for good combat instances and more challenging balanced fights.
