Cassa919 Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Hello, for 2-3 weeks now I cant connect to the rencorner AOW server, but I can connect to all other servers. Tried to re install launcher, the game and the patches. I use no VPN, im Cassa919 on the server. Something changed or happened a few weeks ago causing this? I am registered to the server with PW etc.

Cassa919 Posted May 3 Author Posted May 3 (edited) well thats interesting. Just tested now, and it let me put in my password, but asap I got in it said you are kicked from the server: DM. So then comes the question, why have I been kicked/what for..? Before today it just refused to let me connect to server and connection broke. But now it seems I have been possibly banned perhaps, at least denied access to server since im kicked? Edited May 3 by Cassa919

Cassa919 Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 (edited) rencorner is the issue comes up, rencorner timed aow, rencorner test euro marathon is fine, rencorner sniper works fine, its only the server I mainly played on im kicked out from %) You got a rencorner test marathon but its locked so cant naturally test that one. Goztow Posted May 4 Posted May 4 There is someone who bypasses bans to team hamper. He has been doing it for months. We had to ban entire ip ranges to keep him out. You seem to be collateral damage. Sorry for that.

That means shaitan need handle it over his scripts in RCBOT and looks like he did that already.

I sadly wont be able to test for now as tiberian tech updater cant check for latest version and fails. So will update later when I have time or if reinstall of something is needed. :) WIll come back asap as I got time to check out and test. Again thanks a bunch for assisting in this! I wrote in password, no kick DM or anything, could move around and stayed connected for now. Again thanks for all the help and effort :) Now I can finally join you guys in the weekends when I got alone time and I am bored :D Have a great day/week all and see you guys soon hopefully! Ye I didnt see I could just click continue to bypass that update thingy and same issue, will try again later so you can check/work on it. ty :) I think I recall the name cat but then again, just played this game again recently after many years so im not too familiar with ppl except capt and I think broly or whatever their names are. :) My nickname has been cassa919 or cas919 since I came back. Its a bit funny, I have been banned twice in my life from a game, both in renegade. 2nd time is now as we discuss. the first time was when I was 10-12 years, english isnt my native language and I didnt know better. But always when I found something disgusting or nasty I tended to write "ew" with a J at start. Luckily I got unbanned after talking to the admin and told him why I spelled it like that and I actually didnt know what a ew with a J was. And I thought it was pronounced/spelled that way. So a little silly story from my younger days from when I was ignorant and didnt know better XD They lukcily knew I was a nice guy and never said anything bad and found it weird I kept writing ew with a J at start. And thinking back to it, its silly and sort of hilarious and unfortunate lol. So a little silly story as reward because I just realised I have only been banned in renegade, not even once, but now twice XD one for my ignorance, and one for an unfortunate mistake in crossfire :D Edited May 5 by Cassa919 2
