• Konstantin.

2) What is your age? (The older you are, the higher standard we will uphold you and your application to)

• I'm 16 years old as of now.

3) What is your main language?

• My main language is Russian.

4) What other languages are you completely fluent in? (If any) 

• I'm decently good with English, I think.

5) What is your main character’s in-game name?

• SubmarineGD

6) How often do you play and how long have you been on our servers? [Note, this is a two part question; you may use /age for the second part]. (We will also check to see how long your oldest account has been on the server for). 

• I try to play everyday for about an hour, but life can get in the way (mostly studies or touching grass). I've been here since 6/8/2021 (I do not know how the american format works, so here's the /age result :p)

7) What platform do you play Terraria on? (Mobile, PC, etc).

• I play from Mobile nearly all the time. I also have a PC version of the game I barely touch.

8) Do you have any experience/history with moderating and/or administrating Terraria servers? If so, please describe your experience in detail.

• I have been a Staff member here twice before. First run ended as a Helper, the last one I got to FullMod and resigned due to personal reasons + politics (RKN blocking Discord

9) What is your understanding of the responsibilities of Helper AND TempMod? Please answer with regards to both positions, even if you are only applying for one.

• Helpers' role as a staff member is to help and assist players online, like guiding newer players with whatever questions they have, or assist VIPs in their journey. They (helpers) can also assist in keeping the server clean with stuff like patching holes, reporting inappropriate names or builds to higher rank staff. Helpers' goal is to learn from TempMods on how moderation really works and get prepared for it.
• TempMods are beginner moderators.Their responsibilities include all of what Helpers have, but they have more power to keep the server "clean", so they should also seek out inappropriate names or behavior, or hackers, keep it cool and control the situation if possible. TempMods also should be decently active ingame and with votes (like everyday or other).

10) How long have you been playing Terraria? Since what version of the game?

• I've been playing since sometime 2021, and my first version was 1.4.0.5.2.

11) Have you ever been banned or punished on a server before (including ours)? If so, why? (Being honest here may serve to benefit your chances at staff). 

• I have been warned + kicked once very early in Rencorner by Micah-sama for item spam once. I don't think there was anything else.

12) What would you say to a player who is asking how to get free items?

• That they can either use /warp item to get to the item chests area, or if they know what they want - to use the /i command (the command context is often shown via chat messages, and using the command incorrectly helps you too)

13) What would you say to a player who is asking what is there to do on the server?

• That this is a free items/free build server, and that you can essentially play however you want to, as long as you don't break the rules of the server. I'd also mention PVP arenas existing, and suggest going for VIP if a player wants to stay with us.

14) What are some perks VIPs have that Defaults do not? (List as many as possible!)

• VIPs have: more items available for use, the custom PvP arena, more commands, access to custom weapons and tools, and access to more building areas (like the beaches and VIP areas);
• As ranks go up: more HP and mana available (/viphp and /vipmp), access to raids and custom materials/crafting, even MORE items and commands to use and, at last, enchants!

15) What are some differences between each VIP Class? (Melee, Magic, Ranger) (List as many as possible!)

• Different classes have different names and custom weapons. Their event stats also differ, and enchants/CWEs are also assigned to different classes (can't spear as a mage :cccccccccccccccc)

16) At what rank number does VIP turn into "VIP+"? Which three ranks would these be? (Please provide the names of the ranks)

• This happens at rank 20, when your name turns blue (that's my special attack!). These ranks would be Assassin, Spiritualist and Marksman.

17) What permissions do "VIP+" have over standard VIPs? (List as many as possible!)

• iirc you get more commands and spawns available there (could spawn moons, ooa, lacewing) and can bypass the word filter??? i have been out of the loop with VIP+ changes, eek

18) Imagine a new player joins the RenCorner Network discord. They ask you how to link their discord account with their in-game RenCorner Terraria server account. Please provide the steps necessary to complete the linking process as if you were talking directly to this new member. You may give them an imaginary name if you'd like. 

• I'd tell them to go to the bot-commands channel and to use #link there. From there, I'd assist them in DMs if they wish for more help to be done, as Botscipile describes everything you need to do in good detail. If the player still fails, I'd direct them to a SeniorMod or Discipile I suppose.

19) Name four of our server rules and explain why they're important.

1. No hacking or exploits of any kind - it takes the fun away from the game for everyone, and can slow down the server if extreme.
2. No spamming (flooding the chat with boss spam included) - it's extremely distracting and makes communication nearly (if not completely) impossible.
3. No griefing - taking the hard work of someone else for the fun of yours isn't a good thing at all. Treat others the way you wish to be treated.
4. Offensive language and acts to someone aren't welcome - makes others' experience on the server better and prevents potentially toxic/rule-breaking moments.

20) What would you do if there was a situation you could not handle?

•  I'd call for help from a higher ranked staff member and keep the situation under my control to the best of my abilities (like handing out punishment as necessary and telling others to not interact with the rulebreaker).

21) Your best friend joins our server and begins hacking. What do you do?

• Deal with him just like with any other player.

22) Another player you dislike says something that bothers or annoys you. How do you react?

• Warn the player that he's breaking rules of the server and keep a tough skin. If the rulebreaking goes too far - mute.

23) What would you say is your biggest strength? Your greatest weakness?

• My greatest strength is the will to learn and understand others. I think I understand people and their intentions/emotions somewhat well.
• My greatest weakness is being scared to make mistakes.

24) A man’s wife is very sick and needs special medicine to survive. The only pharmacy to have the medicine is charging a ridiculously high price for it, which the man cannot afford. Is it okay for the man to steal the medicine? Why or why not?

• It's not okay to steal the medicine, as it's against the law. Earn the money or find a middle-ground with the pharmacy.

25) Why do you want a staff position here at RenCorner?

• I'd like to get my position as Staff back because RenCorner is a great and important place for me, and I'd like to improve it with what power the staff rank comes with!

26) What sets you apart from other players and staff applicants? Answer in at least 3-4 sentences. (We will count). 

• I think I'm somewhat different from some staff members for an amount of reasons. 

1. I'm not exactly great at anything in the game (like PvP and building) but I'm very open to learn them with any player.
2. I think I could be a great person/chatter to see online cause I understand others' positions or lives quite well, and could make their visit on the server better.
3. And of course, I'm good with Russian. There's quite a bit of us online, so I can most likely help with this.

28) Is there anything you’d like to tell us about yourself (or anything important you think we should know)?

• I've already used IRC before and should be at least able to use it well. I am also afraid of being cut off from Discord because of our government, so if I disappear for a long time - blame Roskomnadzor.
• I am also very unlucky (disc i am sure I've rolled for an enchant for more than 225 times this has gotta be intentional, please implement a pity system or something alike)
• Loxy suggests me to aim straight for HalfMod, but I don't know about it. If applying for this is impossible OR wouldn't be good for me - I'm aiming for TempMod.
