From a tech/ hottie

I don't know what have happened these last few months, but it feels like the server have gotten a bit more (in lack of the right word) rude and player have become more selfish.

I consider myself to be a good team player (and Bank) and I'm usually out there repping you guys, but latley some of you seems to go out of your way to have me killed.

You push me in to the line of fire with your tanks while I try to keep you alive, you block my exit way out of danger so I can keep on repping instead of dying, or you Alt 1 about 15 times and when I run out to repp you, you drive away  before you're healed up just so you can keep getting points and at the same time keep  alt 1 like a mad man.

I'm done with that, if you don't protect me while I'm out there to support you, I'll not help you, at least not as my primary object.

I told you before, I'm an old lady with an extremly low treshold for BS and selfserving AHs, and for every year that pass I get even more cranky 

I have a few persons I really enjoy repping, You guys/girls protect me, you even stop to get me healed up when there is a possibilty to do so. So from now on I'll keep to "my" guys/ girls and hope the others take a good look at how a teamplayer work and copy.

Well that's my whine for today, see you ingame tonight now it's time to go and bake some

I nevertheless appreciate everyone who repairs my tank, almost always trying my best to protect them (unless I have a good reason to rush suddenly to a different point, like spotting a SBH), and trying to PM thanks to all my repair peeps.

I try and acknowledge reppers with a ty in game with a rec or two where time allows. Also a quick squirt of rep juice if the techs are low on a hp.

Everytime someone is repping me in rencorner they just randomly stop for no reason.

 

Its like o i have reps cool ill go fight all these meds then the reps suddenly stop.

Remeber when you have reps and go around a corner and your tech follow you........ mrls shoot around that corner and arties splash, so your rep is probably taking damage and run to refill. That is what I do (after I repped you up), especially when I'm low on funds. If you then have moved futher out on the field there is probably another tank wanting reps so I get stuck repping that one. So before you roll out check the status on the person /persons repping you, if it is a team with good templay, we rep eachother but not all do

Then we have the snipers  and their evil headshots  if the team dosen't protect us, we die like flies out there and after a while it gets tiredsome to die-run back out-die -run back out-die and so on , if we're lucky we have a APC out firing around for sbh's and notice that we are in trouble and act like a quick uber so we can get and refill and drive us back out....we have a couple of those, they are worth their weight in gold.

So it is a like this, we can't keep you safe if you don't keep us safe

Learn to protect!! I ALWAYS try my best to cover my hotwires/technicians. I would give up my tank to protect them at all cost to be honest. I often shout ‘alt + 7’ (Get cover), when i am about to push a little but where it is dangerous for my reps. 
 

You have to appreciate them!! Jump out to repair them from time to time. You got to keep track, it is a game which requires teamwork. 
 

SweAngel, i am very sorry if i have ever dissapointed you for being a bad protector or anyone else who repped me and felt that way. 
 

Shout out to all repair guys/girls and don’t forget to rec them now and then as well. Show some respect and they will give it back to you. 👌🏽

Yeah you get people like NLsRene who i would just as soon repair as have my own vehicle.  Its really easy to tell imo who gives a crap about the techs and who just expects to be repaired no matter how they act.  Great thing about this game and this server is sure there are jerks, but there are plenty of great regulars to play with so you always have people on your team you know you can trust.  I don't get playing and not caring whether your team wins or loses, nothing wrong with losing, but you should at least try and help your team win imo.

There's like 2 rules to playing a decent tank

1. Don't overextend

2. Protect your repairer

Surprising (but not really) how many people regularly fail in one or both of these

And 2 ans 3 sometimes conflict. It's useless to stay at a corner all game. You need to get enough tank firepower in a group and then move forward to break the siege. It's also a tech's 'job' to identify when this psuh happens a'd follow the tank. Surely the tank shouldn't move too fast but the tech should also choose a correct angle to stay defended. It's a work of art when a good tech and a good tank driver work together.

Getting this balance is tough between being conservative and pushing out with tanking. I must admit; I’m a prodder and prober first 😜. Trying to tease out the enemy.

I love that because you and I know each other well from times past, we read minds too. When either of our health is low and we are in a hot zone, we just use “get in the vehicle” voice command and swap tank/rep roles.

Getting that read with other players is cool.

The "best player in the world" (GenMayem) already yelled at me because I kept moving (front/backward to avoid shots) in an arty on field because he didn't want to move while he was repping me lol
