everyone loves to complain about yoimdrunk being afk ................

unless this is his smurf account, it is literally the same exact thing. every game he is AFK. we trying to apc nuke gdi and he was in the apc. when going out to repair he hopped into driver seat and didnt even move the apc backwards so gdi shot it and died...... wasnt his apc

 

idk yall wanna do something but it annoying

Stop pushing and killing afk players + play map longer like 10 mins and they will be kicked automatically.

yeah i know  that there is afk scripts....

but that didnt stop the entire mod team from complaining about yoimdrunk every fkn day.?

and honestly, sometimes the AFK hampers the game before the script kicks in.

Small game 6v5, that 1 afk player especially if they are on the 5 player team, will affect the team before they get kicked.

question mark was directed towards the 'pushing and killing afk players'

I also think the AFK timer time should be reduced, it does work...but takes too long to kick in

I also agree on this but it's hard to determine, for exemple, would 6 minutes be enough?

Then people going to pee or grab a sandwich will complain they couldn't go back from the toilet or whatever (even if IMO they should just quit and rejoin).

10 mins is default since scripts 2.x/3.x era. And thats minimum for cigarete + WC in my case. :tongue2:

it was 3 mins on another server and it was too short even when i just wanted to get a drink from kitchen..

so imo 4 or 5 mins is ok..

how about implementing a new system where

- scripts auto kicks you for afk at a designated time, for example lets say 5 minutes.

- if you  type !afk in chat letting the whole lobby you are definitely going afk, you dont get kicked for 15 minutes or something like that

Its nothing else just only extending it from 10 mins to 15 which is even worse. People dont read rules or dont know even PM others so any user interaction is obsolete. Closing topic since this was discussed multiple times and my implementation works fine.
