(Im so sorry if this is the wrong to post) Just got a new 4k monitor game locks up in menu

Hey boys. again im so sry if this is the wrong place to post this. (i never post on forums) So i just got a 4k monitor (upgraded from a 3440x1440) ive tried the config tool is every manor i can think of but when i launch the game it freezes in the main menu. ive tried changing resolutions, full screen to borderless, everything. i cant get the game to launch and work on this monitor. i have my old (3440x1440) monitor set as my 2nd monitor now, if i try and move the game to run on that monitor it does the same thing. Just a black screen, if i alt+tab it displays the main menu but freezes and i have to force close. Im at my wits end. Someone plz help me! THANKS

Not sure, maybe try to run the game in window mode.  4k is asking a lot from a 20 year old game. Hopefully some one with a  4 k monitor can help as I only have 2k.

tried windowed too. didnt work. ive tried every different res, 16:9, 4:3, doesnt work. thx for the input bro.

*side note 

my 3440x1440 worked flawlessly before getting this new monitor.

Did you ever sort this? I assume you've got the TT patch
