Fun Fact: Why Team Stacking Is NOT Right!

a public server is a server which random ppl join to have some fun, its not a clan war which two teams with choosen players do compete..

so public server is for fun not for competition, this is why players on a public server always get randomized on every map start to ensure a fair and fun game for everyone..

think about 3 friends and also good players joining a public server, they change team to be on same team so most likely their team will win every map..

if teamstacking is being done, then whats the point of a public server? the other team will always lose, where is the fun?

if you wanna team up with your friends, arrange a clan war and compete with them..

do NOT cause unfairness on a public server..

Maybe CAP stacks sometimes and so do other players but you could probably limit the discussion about team changing and stacking to the thread you already created, yeah?  Do we need multiple threads talking about the same thing at the same time?

 Maybe if you wouldn't talk about food, or your whereabouts in game, playing a sbh sitting in base/field doing absolute 0.. AND JUST PLAY THE FUCKING GAME. People might want to stick with your team. 

Yes people stack, i change teams 4-5 times if i am sniping myself, because it gets bored when they won't show themselves or to scared to get into the tunnels. then i change to have some fun and actually fight someone rather than waiting 30 minutes. 

 

Yes some stack teams, especially those mid tier players or high tier public players what ever, point is all they can do against it is blocking those abusing the command the most. so the other people that are maybe weaker, but who will play no matter what can change for once. 

But before you talk about fun, imagine how your teammates feel when you are hitting F2, to tell people that you are about to move to tokio, or that you just ate a pizza while you are in a fucking med tank not helping a teammate who is right in front of you fighting a other tank off!!

about being afk, i hardly go afk, even if i ever go afk it's never longer than a min, cuz i always leave game if i need to do something longer than a min..

ask anyone if they remember me going afk longer than a min?

if i go afk for a min, im probably getting a drink or something..

also you can check it, i got back to ren like 4 yrs ago..

check logs history, i claim i haven't got kicked for afk more than 3 times in the whole 4 yrs..

Indeed it is a public server. So why whine about team stackers? You do the same by talking 90% of the time, rather than being useful too. Or like the video above, you are just sitting in places doing nothing but sitting there.  

I don't care if you are responding to PM's from mods when they ask if you are AFK. you might be there, but for the team you aren't anywhere at all.

if i am talking 90% of the time, how am i rank 1 on monthly ranks of december 2025?..

i was gonna post screenshot but the page is reset and it shows the january ranks now.. maybe a mod can reach december ranks and post my stats..

i can talk and play at the same time..

i don't care if you got kicked for being afk or not. you know yourself what i mean when i say you talk to much or when you don't do anything at all but running around with a sbh. 

You talk about having fun, but what if those players that change teams will tell you they are having fun by changing to the better team as they are to big a of n00bs themselves to win games? you have fun by talking in game about farting, fast food, how much you weigh, what country you are from, where you are flying to in the next 2 minutes etc etc etc. their fun is maybe to win games by changing to the better team. 

So you are allowed to be busy talking and being useless to your own team, and they can't change to the other because you lack activity? yeah i would change teams too if you are constantly talking, being a sbh running around without any target to go. having fun in renegade is to teamplay, and if you have people that are AFK, suck at the game, only talking without doing shit.. or those that are there but because they aren't doing much and so equally afk. YOU CHANGE TEAMS! of course you do.. what is the point of trying in those kind of teams? 

If a new game starts and one team is stacked, just hope for it to end fast and live with it. yes it sucks, it only wouldn't with 50+ players, but in smaller games ~30 players the chances are bigger to have stacked teams from start on. and the rest just wants to be part of it because they don't like to get raped that hard. and some like me would just pick a sniper and hope the game ends fast, others leave and join later on.

I remember a game on Under many years ago where I was Nod and GDI had us pinned so I switch to GDI for a while. Nod breaks through and holds field for some time again then I switch back to Nod, GDI rushes us and I lost.

you expect perfection on a public server.. there are rly many players doing dumb stuff on the server cuz the players are random.. they join the game to relax and have some fun by playing the game the way they enjoy it..

they dont only have ambition to win, they also do not have to win cuz its a public game, not an official clan war or something..

you say "their fun is maybe to win games by changing to the better team" .. i think thats actually not a win.. think about it, lets say i am a mod and i got power to tc myself whenever i want, and i tc myself whenever i realise enemy is gonna win the game, so i win all of the games.. is that really wining?..

Renegade used to be a game in which you needed to play with your team to win games. You can't compare the players from 17 - almost 24 years ago versus the players today. games are much faster unbalanced and unfair due to more experienced players sitting in one team together. especially when it comes to AOW players > there aren't that many throughout the week seriously... in weekends there are enough to have balanced matches.

You can sit and hit buildings for 24 hours, but it takes a team to destroy a whole base. Gratz with your rank 1 in december sir. you must feel great about that one! also i don't care, it is just a game. Have fun while it is still alive and stop whining about teams being to stacked < that usually only matters in rush maps which today suck ass anyways.

But distracting your  players by talking about BULLSHIT like fastfood and where you are from and shit is? 

Look man you are super kind not gonna lie about that shit, but you are super distractive when it comes to you talking in F2 chat, maybe you can talk and play, but while doing so there will always be people reading and responding to your nonsense. Maybe even your own teammates, so how does that help? 

It is farfetched but you can't just blame 1 thing while teamstacking isn't the only thing that is unfair. 

I don't like it when teams get stacked, but can't be arsed either when it is a rush map. it will only end quicker and then a map like islands/field/under/land_hd might come faster. :) 

if a mod abuses the !tc command i am sure they will discuss that in staff chat.

i get you, u just want to play the game and expect from every other player on the server do the same thing, templay and have a motivation to play the game in a perfect way..

but again it is a public server and not all of the players on it are perfect..

renewars (im not sure mentioning about other server names are allowed here or not, if not im sorry, a mod delete it pls) is what you are looking for.. they are perfect, almost all players are skilled and motivated to tp and win.. also specs are not even allowed to use F2 so the players wont get distracted..
