How many harvesters does it take to get promoted?

Recently I conducted an experiment to determine how many harvesters it takes to accumulate enough veteran points to reach a promotion. An important thing on the tip of everyone's tongue, I know. 

At the 13th harvester death, I achieved 101 promo points and the 1st promotion. At the 25th harvester death I reached the 2nd promotion. At the 39th harvester I achieved the 3rd promotion. 

After killing 45 harvesters I obtained 353 veteran points. This averaged out to a general 7.84 veteran points/harvester. 

Now everyone can settle down over this hotly debated issue. Thank you

Did you know that prices are cheaper when you are promoted? It doesn't show, but your 1000 credits havoc (and others) costs less
