D4rX Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Hello, After being very sceptical about sudden death, I've learned to accept the way it is. However, I do have my concerns about the poll system. In my opinion, it's pretty gay people poll till it passes. When the first poll does not pass, it should be disabled for 30 min. I'm tired of seeing good games ruined by the so-called "poll-players". Now, what y'all think of this? It's ridiculous to see 5 polls in less than 10 minutes, just c'mon now... 1

RnD Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I myself am not a fan of Sudden Death what so ever, I mean I can see the reason for it, but I don't like it, as a gamer, I find the challenge of a very long match where both sides well dug in often making for a several hour long game enjoyable, yeah it can be annoying for some but there is always a breaking point, finding that way is what makes it enjoyable for myself at least, none the less, regarding polls, I agree that they are annoying, again I see the point but Darkz has clearly seen the same as I in which they seem like they are spammed, it's not cool at all. -RnD- 1

Tiny Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 If you guys are wanting this I can write a simple script out in for mIRC after the first poll has been activated after the time limit has reached whatever you have it set at I could make it after the first poll fails that the bot will disable the poll gameover command for xammount of time and then re-enable it again. Volcom Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 I would agree to once it hasn't passed twice that it is locked for 30 minutes. I say 2 because people may have missed the initial poll. I know I have a few times.

You could also try using !shun on the players that spam it mate, that'll disable BRenbot commands for them (works for the time being) I think 15-20mins is ample time after the first poll has been denied.

Every 30 mins poll would be somewhat suitable if you insist on keeping it in the server
