Volcom Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Helle Everyone, We have recently done some server upgrades. At 12 am eastern time (-5 GMT) we will be changing the ip of the Teamspeak 3, Renegade, and Killing Floor servers. When we do this everyone will be disconnected from Renegade, Killing Floor, and Teamspeak 3. The server will not be down for any longer than 5 minutes. The new ip will be 192.169.92.22. We will be changing the subdomains to that ip as well. So ts.rencorner.co and kf.rencorner.co will connect to the new ip. The subdomains may not resolve for everyone right away. In which case use the ip. Thanks guys, -Volcom 1
therobfather3 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Is this the same IP for Minecraft? It's not working as a server IP.
therobfather3 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 CORRECT 192.169.92.22 Hm. Still giving me nothing. I'll keep trying it!
DrSithis Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 We're currently aware of the IP issues you're experiencing. We're also experiencing downtime with Proxmox. I'll keep everyone posted. Please keep in mind, we(by we, I do mean Volcom, Tiny, and I) are working extremely hard to get everything online. 1
odjitt Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 thanks guys. Not to keep nagging you all. I can wait it out. Its the wife (hvymetalbarbie) and Therobfather3 that are going through withdrawals 1
DrSithis Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 The IP provided should be working, the IP 192.169.92.22 works as far as I can tell. I would consider doing the following, run command prompt. Type ipconfig /flushdns and then ipconfig /renew and it should work. If that doesn't work, please have patience and we will try to figure out an alternate solution for your folks!
therobfather3 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 DNS flush didn't work, I think the server provided is a local IP, so it won't transfer over the net? I'm not too keen on Minecraft hosting, so I could be wrong. I'll just wait patiently now!
DrSithis Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 It isn't a local IP. Local IPs start with the following 192.168, 10.0, and 127.0.
therobfather3 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Ah, gotcha. My mistake! Definitely still doesn't work, though. I'll go back to waiting patiently.
Volcom Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 This ip switch had nothing to do with minecraft. Use mc.rencorner.co. The server for minecraft is currently down. It will be back up soon. I'll update this topic when it is back up 3
DrSithis Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Keeping everyone posted, 5 of the 8 Minecraft servers are online. Please wait for Volcom to update everyone. You can check for the server status' for Minecraft by clicking here.
Joetorp Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 They are all still offline, don't know how you can say they are on line, unless the Rencorner-mc.com server isn't updated with new ip's.
DrSithis Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I'm unsure what the fuck is going on now. Proxmox was completely fucked up by Limestone, per usual. Unsure what to think right now. Otherwise I believe there's a malfunction and the IPs -HAVEN'T- been updated. I'll look into this and let you know what's up.
DrSithis Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 This is an update regarding the IP change. The above update applied for the Killing Floor servers, Renegade servers, and our TeamSpeak server! It didn't apply to Minecraft, it was offline for a whole other reason. I do deeply and greatly apologize for the downtime and the inconvenience everyone has been caused. If there's anymore questions or comments you may PM me or post in this thread. 1
therobfather3 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 No need to "deeply apologize" for something you guys are supporting and giving to us FOR FREE. Keep up the work, and we'll keep enjoying it.
Volcom Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Sorry guys, I went to bed. It's back up. Enjoy guys!
