zorknap Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I wanted to ask you guy what you use to capture video in game. Back in the day I know that most people used fraps, but I hear that there is better stuff out there now. A while back someone gave me a link to a nice program for free that was good, but I lost that and forgot what it was called. So I just wanted to ask here and get everyone's thoughts and see what you guys used.
Syndicate Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 If you have a computer fraps can record very nicely, it just produces a large video
Strike Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Depends on your vid card, else the nevwer nvid card have video function without losing loads of fps
CerealKlr Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Shadowplay for Nvidia cards is nice, but still glitches occasionally. It allows you to save your last 3 minutes of video on demand, without constantly recording.....so u just hit alt F9 and it saves your last 3 minutes of footage. Other then that, I like Xfire better then fraps, but this was years ago, and I dont use Xfire anymore, and I think fraps got better.
Mikey Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Fraps has always been good for me, never had a single problem. I can give you a registered version if you need it. 1
