I am not happy one bit.

 

As per the dicussion on irc with the head of RC and TmX a few nights ago, we are to be informed if there's any issues at all on IRC, especially when there's downtime.

 

I join after getting back from buying clothes with Sarah and Tiny graciously messages me and informs me that irc services was down for a unspecified period of time. I don't know which one of you knuckleheads decided to fuck around with things, but I'm not happy, at all.

 

Thank you for keeping me updated Tiny, at least you do, unlike these two knuckleheads.

thanks for also sharing that the services where down and we where trying to reboot them, since there was a unrealircd config error what made the service not to reboot..

we had to fix it, but we coulnd, so we had to wait on tiny (since he changed many config settings due to a test thing)...

 

But i am glad you post the positive things without the right details

This is the whole point. I did not know of any details because you knuckleheads failed to inform anyone from TmX of what you was doing. The IRC network was fine, until you/Root decided to fuck with things.

 

You weren't a part of the heads of TmX/RC meeting a few days ago, so I'll forgive you some. But basically it was agreed that if there is any irc downtime or anything's not working correctly, we are informed, period. By "we" (as your new) I mean Me/Kicsisajt.

 

Our irc networks are linked, so whatever you knuckleheads do, affects us too, which is why it would be nice to be informed, as was previously agreed. If you can't understand/fail to agree to this then I'd prefer for you to not have access to do such things that affect RC users and TmX users alike.

They didn't kill services, they came around after the fact. Cut them some slack because I'm about to just delete this topic.

First of all let's not call each other names. Second of all we do need to keep the community updated when something like this has happened.

 

Let's be adults about it from now on. Mistakes happen as long as everyone just informs the communities what is happening it will diffuse situations like this in the future.

Sorry that there was absolutely no discussion in the services downtime.

 

How about the next time Tiny informs Strike and I which configurations can be used. That was the issue from the beginning.
