Hi,

 

before i start: YES this is a post bout hourglass.

 

Hillcamping was fun, but it aint no more. All games i played where won by nod by hillcamping. The game only takes 20 mins. Cant we make a vote on this ingame...? Or try a trial without hillcamp and then decide whats better? 

 

Hope people listen to this ... It aint fun no more to play a game which is already decided.

How about a 1 minute timer for all vehicles that go on a hill, only allowing instant rushes, but no constant point whoring..

 

I'm sure Blacky or WD can do this.

That would be the same as making a no hill camping rule.

I think only artys/mrls should not be allowed to camp hill. This rule was in kambot server and it worked fine tbh.

Yea, that's even better. Only certain vehicles on the hill. But the med can still it the hand of nod...

Its harder to camp with 2+meds on hill to reach hon tbh...  You needa be pretty close and obby covers it.

Bitches complain about anything nowadays. GDI and NOD are equal on hourglasses. Stop whining. You just don't know how to play on that map.

Lights can hit agt too.

Veh limit is a good idea but with our server population, there camp only 2-3 vehicles anyways.

I was referring to the hillcamp "problem". Overall "problem" is that GDI is less motivated to stop Nod on the hill than Nod does to GDI, that is all. Both sides can control the hill equally. It was a problem before TT, but now it isn't imo.

You hit the nail right there. Teamwork on ren. ===============> lOL. Almost extinct.

 

You just admitted the "hillcamp problem" isn't a real problem, just the lack of teamwork which isn't related to the hillcamp lol, but to the team.

Yeah you are right, this map is shit without teamwork. So better forbid hillcamping with arty/mrls or leave it as it is. This map ends pretty fast anyways.

I've seen Hourglass hillcamp come up often over the years. Mappers, turn that hill into a valley!

Slap yourself for that.All you need is 2 mammoths and hotties.. if u know to use that damn mammoth properly u will see it can get rid of their vehs easily. Yea, needs teamwork cause u need hotties repping u.If the map doesn't take hours then i dont see a problem with this D:

I would say, keeping in mind the teamwork, add a time limit to hill camping or if not then forbid hc for arty/mrls. If hc is forbidden completely then we will have another hour taking map.

Lazy people, when I'm on GDI(from the start), we own that hill. Just did it the last game I played the other day. :Thinking:

My 2 Cents...

I've played Hourglass as GDI mostly since its been in the rotation and GDI wins more often than not...

Also,

Your arguement about fun being over because of hillcamping, is identical to NOD or GDI taking out Refinery on Field. Both teams can do it, both teams can stop it. All comes down to teamwork.

Or, Harvy Walking. Again. Both teams can do it, both teams can stop it. Your point about hillcamping being unfair or bias to one team, is invalid.

I think it should stay at it is, I mean both teams have the advantages but teamwork is required.

For example, if on field nod can jump into ref easily but not gdi that dosent mean we should ban ref hopping cause one team can do it.

Al the time I played hourglass on gdi I never lost ;) this map can only be won with great teamplay
