Last time we tried setting up a commwar, no one followed up. Perhaps the Jelly players will consider playing with our mods instead of just plain AOW. We don't have the OB gun, but we have weapons drop (via backpack) and some other features that should tickle your fancy. In other words, instead of just having a plain vanilla ice cream cone, put some sprinkles on it.

crypt Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 well that sounds like a no to me, which is unfortunate given the lack of renegade communities. either way i'm sure jelly players would be fine playing with rencorner settings. if the thought of getting beaten outweighs the experience then may i suggest rencorner vs. dragon? those guys are usually up for a war and perhaps it would be a better match up.

Its fun and an experience at the end of the day. Im not sure who's in-charge of organising FW's from our side so will have to wait for them to reply.
Guest Animoski Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Depends how much interest is sparked. Jelly doesn't like playing anything less than 20v20 or 25v25... Last time we had ~20 people registered for a FW, about 12 or so showed up.....
newtown19 Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 The last comm war was against Dragon. I thought it was at 8 PM. I even posted it was 8PM when some asked, but no one corrected me. It turned out to be 8 AM EST, and I work. Most likely that why the turnout was so low as someone mentioned that they had to get up at 7 AM to play. I'm sure we can have this during prime time and will have enough players. We should be able to add a couple of Zunnie's players and/or Dragon players to the roster. Set a date and time.
crypt Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 we also have a funwar server set up at jelly now. pretty standard comwar settings with a max player count of 24. there's a small group of players who run the funwars every friday, saturday and sunday night at around 10-11pm gmt. i'm sure they would love to have a couple of 10v10's or smaller games versus the rencorner crowd...
