May I ask what the reason for that is? From what I've heard, albeit usually from RC members, this is the most populated server in renegade.

Or is there an issue between the two communities I'm not aware of?

Jelly is the most populated server. I won't deny that. RC has its good days aswell, but not as much as Jelly. And I've seen guys bragging about player count at several places. Quite stupid imo, the few communities from Ren that are left, should stand together, not trying to bully each other to the death.

Exactly! Stop hating each other. I have shared some hatred in the past, but now that i've seen the truth, ive come to enjoy all the servers. Over the summer I ran commwars for n00bstories and I was ready to murder Jelly to hell and back (LOL) but now I mod for them and am great friends with everyone in the community and I love it. We have our war against zunnie and his MPF guys. I have spent some time with zunnie and he is a good guy and funny and works hard on his ren maps/servers. I have even spent some time here in rencorner with animoski who is a hell of a funny guy lol

Point being is once you get passed the hatred (for any stupid reason such as player count) or even if you hate one person from a server does not mean they are all bad. Were all here to play some ren just start liking each other and helping out.

We don't really have enough people who read the forums to put together a side, and those who would be willing come from various parts of the globe, so it'd be hard arranging a day/time suitable for everyone

Forgive me for goading rencorner into a response here. I am well aware of the tensions that exist between the communities for reasons that I am confident are archaic as they are childish.

If it were up to me i'd just say fuck it. Get over yourselves. It's a video game designed to be played for fun. If you're not happy playing it, play elsewhere or go outside.

Either way, I want to strongly echo crush's sentiment in trying to get as many cross-community activities going as possible. I suggested before that even if senior rencorner players wanted to field a team and play a few games with our community war players on the weekend, that would be a great start.

Whilst our Community War Server is hosted by jelly, the server itself was setup by jelly, n00bstories and exodus people with guidance from several cw.cc members. It is in itself the definition of communities working together.

The people that organise matches there realise that at this stage in Renegade, if you're going to get the best out of your game time, you're going to have to put the bullshit away.

Crypt I know what you are talking about with tension, but I don't think it is Communities vs. a few people that have a pure hatred for each other I am not going to elaborate on further. Most that are here don't even know Jelly's history or peeps there enough to hate.

RC is at a different time than Jelly is from a solid "regular" player base. Sure we average about 30+ in game vs. Jelly's 50. But our 30+ is not made up of the % of "regulars" that Jelly has. We need at least 15 to 20 "regular" type players to be able to field even 10 players for a comm war. We don't have that yet. So like Billie said we don't even have 10 that view the forums to say yes to never show on game day. (Yes sarcasm)

Post this match everywhere like you are doing and what players from the various communities that want to play will show. Just don't think RC will 100% be able to field 10 to 15 good players for a scheduled comm war.

You seem level headed maybe liquid and others could take a leaf out of your book. The way It came across to me was that those guys are representing the community and by their actions they are making a show of it, it's rep has gone downhill since the departure of spoon, and tbh they're doing it no favors whatsoever. Don't take offense to this as it's not what im trying to do im just stating what I see as facts, I'm not saying that I haven't played my part in anything either because everyone here has at one time or another but renforums speaks for itself and just proves my points here by showing the immaturity of those 'admins' and how they come across to the player base of ren that have either read/seen their actions you'd think being one of the last community's on renegade they would wisen up and sort their act out, but I guess im living in a dream world.

To be honest, getting 10/15 players isn't hard at all, we have at least that amount on teamspeak most days - it just needs good management.

I think by December, once RC has conducted internal funwars and possibly another commwar with someone else, we'll be ready to take on Jelly. Sure we may not win, but its all in good fun.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Crypt should be the "public relations guy" for Jelly as he has a much more acceptable and mature attitude in general. Liquid's cool and all and I have no quarrel with him, but he does like to chime in to stuff that doesn't concern him, which is why he's hated by some now.

Oh god, sean is your funwar/commwar spokesman? Just join with us for our weekend wars. Do not start your own. We play every friday, saturday and sunday. You guys would get a lot better playing with us in mixed teams then you would on your own. Not trying to make that offensive. My main point was that if you team up with people you want to fight against in the future you will know solid tactics that they use. It is better for all and see different styles of play in different situations. We will mix teams and it will be a lot of fun for everyone. There will be no Rencorner or Jelly. It will be renegade players havin a fun time not giving a fuck about communities and just kicking ass!
