Got my new PC

It wasn't supposed to be in till next week sometime but I got it in today around noon. been transferring old files since then and now I'm re-downloading all my programs.

 

New Specs:

(just copying from dxdiag)

Processor: Intel® Xeon® CPU X5660 @ 2.8 GHz (less than my old one mhm) (6 CPUs)

Memory: 12 gb

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti

 

 

once I get to playing a game I can find out how it's gonna be for playing, already seems to run better just installing things.

I looked up the processor and it said something like $1k+ but idk if that's right

Most higher-end machines (Servers, Workstations, Mac Pro) are spec'd with Xeons.. They are designed to handle more CPU calculations simultaneously (good for heavy CPU use i.e Video Transcoding, rendering etc), and to run 24/7. Probably a little OTT for a gaming comp, but very nice, none the less.

That's good because I render videos a lot, and could use the extra CPU power for it.

Clearly you have some kind of hook up you aren't telling us about as I remember you bragging about how cheap your previous PC was too!

 

Nonetheless great setup man other than like others have said the graphics power is mid-range and the CPU is sort of unnecessary for gaming.   Little top heavy on one side.
