I work just a couple of blocks from the world trade center site, the same place as I was thirteen years ago. Except I wasn't at work that day. I was home on maternity leave, holding a very tiny magicbookwyrm and wondering what sort of world we'd brought a child into.

 

One of the things I love about being here is seeing kids from all over the globe playing together. Learning to see each other as people. It gives me hope.
